Alberto Robert

Alberto Robert (アルベルト・ロバート, Aruberuto Robāto^?) is a resident of Soleanna in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). He is an elderly shoemaker who has been cobbling shoes in Soleanna Castle Town for a very long time. He has been working on a pair of special shoes known as Custom Shoes which are similar to Sonic's shoes, except that they use the power of Gems to give the wearer different abilities.

History

In the Sonic Episode, Alberto Robert gives Sonic his first Town Mission. He has finished the Custom Shoes, but is unable to find someone to test their full potential. He gives them to Sonic, asking him to test them out by running and jumping through rings. When the results of his performance are successful, Robert is so happy with the Custom Shoes that he lets Sonic keep the pair. He doesn't want any money for the shoes, as he is content with the fact that they are being used.
