Inklings are a race of humanoid squids that are the main protagonists of the Splatoon franchise. They ink their turf and try to save Inkopolis from the Octarians. Their rivals were none other than the Octolings. The Inkling girl has long tentacle-like hair that goes down to their waist while the Inkling boy's variant is rather shorter. In Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3, they have more hairstyles.

It was later discovered that he was innocent this time, as he was investigating the whereabouts of his forces, who have been kidnapped as well.
