Little Mousers are small mouse creatures who generally commit thievery and wear a bandana obscure their face. Little Mousers first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, in which they are an enemy. Despite their name, Little Mousers do not have any connection to Mouser from Super Mario Bros. 2.
In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Little Mousers attempt to steal a Yoshi's eggs. Introduced alongside them are Little Skull Mousers, a variant of Little Mouser that wears a skull. Little Skull Mousers only jump and do not attempt to steal any eggs, but if a Little Mouser's skull is broken, it becomes a regular Little Mouser.
In Mario Kart: Super Circuit
In the track Cheese Land, Little Mousers are obstacles that racers try to avoid. Running over one causes a racer to spin out and lose Coins. They are there probably because Little Mousers like cheese. It would only make sense.
In the Paper Mario series
Little Mousers are featured as a friendly species.
Paper Mario

Little Mousers live all around the Mushroom Kingdom mainly at Dry Dry Outpost. Moustafa is a well-known Little Mouser who makes an appearance.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Little Mousers live in Rogueport. One Little Mouser even runs a Badge Shop near the Inn of Rogueport. Ms. Mowz is one notable Little Mouser who is a thief and is seen throughout the game. She eventually becomes Mario's partner after he does a trouble for her.
