Pider

Piders are enemies which appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They are based on spiders, which is also the origin of their name.

History

Piders are creatures found in Boggly Woods. These enemies shoot out rock-like webs at Mario as well as use their webs to change their height in battle. As the name suggests, these creatures are spiders. A fight in the Glitz Pit takes place involving one of these guys, this fighting team also includes a Cleft and Dark Puff, two other enemies from Boggly Woods.
