Lahla is a character who appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and the remake.

Physical description

Lahla is a teal-colored Boo who wears cat ears.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Lahla works at the Pianta Parlor where she acts like the vendor of the casino. Whenever Mario wins tokens, she gives them to him. She also holds onto any remaining Pianta Tokens if Mario is about to leave the parlor. She has a sister named Peeka Boo who works nearby at Westside Goods.

Mario can also directly interact with Lahla by turning thin and slipping through the bars in order to get to her. Lahla is surprised by Mario being in there with her, but she offers to tell Mario a little about herself. Lahla will tell Mario more about herself the more he earns high scores during any of the Pianta Parlor games.

Trivia

• In the Japanese version, both Lahla and Peeka wear bunny ears. To avoid Playboy Bunny connotations, this was changed to cat ears in international versions.
