Klevar
Klevar is one of the seven Star Spirits , and he first appears in Paper Mario
Profile Physical description Klevar is a living, yellow, five-pointed star who wears a pink bowtie and has rosy pink cheeks.
Behavior Klevar is smart and reads a lot, a characteristic which is represented by him always carrying a sienna brown book with him.
In Paper Mario
At the start, Klevar appears in the Star Haven with the other Star Spirits, guarding the Star Rod . However, Bowser appears and uses the rod to imprison Klevar and the other Star Spirits in the shape of playing cards. Klevar is handed over to Huff N. Puff and guarded by him in the Flower Fields .
In the sixth chapter, Mario manages to reach Cloudy Climb and defeat Huff N. Puff, then he releases Klevar by touching the playing card that Klevar is imprisoned in, ending the chapter. In an act of gratitude, Klevar teaches Mario the Time Out Star Power , which stops time temporarily, before ascending back into Star Haven.
Klevar appears a third time with the other Star Spirits during the final boss fight against Bowser . Klevar and the other Star Spirits are lastly seen during the ending parade.
Klevar and the other Star Spirits all return as hosts. Klevar is first seen in the Dream Depot , where he describes all of the different game modes. Klevar also hosts some of the Happening Space events on certain boards. He also appears in Rainbow Dream , where he offers characters to cross a rainbow bridge for five coins .
Klevar makes a cameo with the other Star Spirits as part of the Star Spirits collectible item.
Behind the scenes Etymology Klevar's name is a play on the word "clever," a reference to him being knowledgeable.
