Star Power

Star Powers (SP for short) are abilities in Paper Mario. Once Mario frees one of the seven Star Spirits, he is given an ability from them. This ability will cost Star Energy to be used. When Mario frees Eldstar from the Koopa Bros. Fortress he is given two Star Spirits, Focus and Refresh.

Abilities

Focus

Focus is one of the first two abilities that Mario learns. Given to Mario by Eldstar, this power does not cost Star Energy to use as it increases Mario's Star Energy when used.

Refresh

Refresh is the first ability that Mario learns that requires Star Energy. It is used to recover five HP and FP. This power costs Mario one point of Star Energy to use.
