Ravens are small, bird like characters with orange beaks and orange feet. They are also usually seen with three feathers on their head.
Behavior
Ravens mainly talk with a "caw" like noise and tend to walk around on objects such as walls. The Ravens follow all orders under the largest one of all, Raphael the Raven, who speaks both Raven and perfect English unlike the other Ravens.
Skills
As seen in Paper Mario, the Ravens have the ability to build certain objects. They can also "fly" using their feet, which can also be used to walk around on objects unaffected by gravity.
Ravens are first encountered in the level Shifting Platforms Ahead. They are seen circumnavigating a small globe, similar to how Raphael circles around a moon. A Yoshi can defeat a Raven by throwing an egg at it.
Ravens make a returning appearance, and unlike the other games, they are more of allies rather than enemies. They live peacefully with the Yoshis on Lavalava Island and can construct things under the orders of Raphael the Raven.
Ravens first appear in the Hoo's Wood level 2-2. Its behavior consists of moving around a platform. Ravens received their own variant imbued with the Gloomvibe, Sad Raven.
