“ | Long have I awaited this day... The day The Temple's defenses would be weak... The day... I hunt down Poseidon Nero. | ” |
—Jaguar, Chapter 156 |
Jaguar (ジャガー Jagā?) is a Captain of the Interstellar Union Army[2], the leader of the Jaguar Unit[3], and a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar[4] who was known as the Beast Lord (獣神 Jūshin?)[5] and its strongest warrior.[6] He was previously a member of the Oración Seis Galáctica.[7]
Appearance
Jaguar is an older man with a pair of bushy eyebrows, a visible vein, a defined nose, and voluminous, strawberry blond hair.[1] He also has a bushy mustache and red eyes[1] resembling that of a jaguar's, hence his name. Jaguar is mostly seen wearing a grey formal military uniform with a high-collared, light-colored coat with the Interstellar Union Army's insignia on the back that is draped on his shoulders like a cape.[2] Around his eyes are small patches of black markings.[8]
Personality
Jaguar is a stern and serious individual, concerned about the consequences of Chronophage's destruction of Guilst that unleashed Drakken Joe into the cosmos.[9] The captain is opportunistic, willing to take advantage of The Temple's defenses weakening to hunt down Poseidon Nero[10] and put a stop to his ambitions.[11] When using his bipedal jaguar form in battle, he is ferocious and brutal towards his enemies.[12]
Synopsis
History
In the past, Jaguar was once part of the Oración Seis Galáctica and was described to be "a man beyond anyone's control". However, at some point, he left the group and joined the Interstellar Union Army, rising through the ranks and became a captain and a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar.[7]
Guilst arc
When Justice, Creed, and Victory find out that 1,200 years of Guilst's time was eaten by the Chronophage with less than 10% of the planet's population have escaped with their lives, Jaguar comments that he always thought the planet as a cageless prison. However, he adds that because of this incident, a dangerous individual was released into space, being on a different level than Illega or Rogue Out, and was the one who turned Guilst into a criminal planet; Drakken Joe, one of the infamous Oración Seis Galáctica.[9]
Red Cave arc
Jaguar contacts the Angel Feather in an emergency transmission, ordering Victory and Creed to leave the bridge of the ship as he and Justice will attend a Prayer Council. He tells the soldier that, despite the intended schedule for next week, they cannot wait that long and reminds him that there are no ranks between the Oración Seis Interstellar during a Prayer Council. Eraser, Holy, Cure, and Feather also appear by transmissions, where Eraser tells Jaguar that his direct subordinate cannot help it and informs the group that Elsie has entered the Aoi Cosmos where her fellow Oración Seis Galáctica member, Poseidon Nero, resides. Jaguar agrees with Eraser that they will have to do something to stop her. Jaguar concurs with Cure's statement about their group's existence to crush the Oración Seis Galáctica. After Justice immediately volunteers to chase down and apprehend Elsie in the Aoi Cosmos with a show of conviction and brief activation of his Ether Gear, Jaguar then requests that they pray to use their "sacred powers" for the peace of the cosmos.[13]
Nero 66 arc
After arriving in the Aoi Cosmos[14], Jaguar contacts Eraser alongside Justice. He remains silent when the soldier scolds their fellow Interstellar for going ahead of them at Nero 66 where Shura is located instead of waiting for them and telling him to not do anything until he says so. Jaguar asks Eraser about the forces of the Nero Empire which the latter replies that there are 3,200 Imperial Army ships on their frontline and they are about ten times the size of his Interstellar Union Army fleet of 250 ships. The captain contemplates after Eraser states that he has no way of knowing how many ships are hiding behind them or are waiting on the planet's surface but reassures him to not worry about it.[15]

However, Jaguar does not participate in the battle at Nero 66 as he has another matter to attend to.[16] Instead, he and his fleet are at Nero 1 where they joined forces with, among others, Dead Cam CEO Rickard and his android forces as his ships engage the Imperial Army vessels in space while his troops are deployed on the ground for an invasion of The Temple where Nero resides.[17] He barges inside the Imperial palace, Deep Snow, after fighting his way through hundreds of Imperial troops alone. He declares that he has waited for the day when The Temple's defenses would be weak, the day he hunts for Nero. As the Imperials charge towards him with their spears, Jaguar activates his Ether Gear, turning into a humanoid jaguar, and throws away his coat before tearing the soldiers apart to pieces. He starts his bloody rampage, ripping apart the horrified soldiers in droves. He is soon punched in the face by Fabiano who uses his crystals arms, but Jaguar then retaliates by brutally punching the man in the stomach. He flips Fabiano into the ground before dragging him through the floor and throws him at the wall, defeating him. Then the captain is confronted by Nero, who compliments him for defeating his best soldier with ease, and mutters the Emperor's name. Jaguar is alarmed when Nero calls out to Ziggy as he arrives, and glares at the Demon King.[18]

As Ziggy approaches, Jaguar realizes that the skull-faced bot is the one who caused the machine uprising on Foresta but is brushed off by Ziggy as a small fry to him. He is then attacked by Brigandine as he blocks the large armored bot's shoulder charge attack with his arm and is briefly pushed back.[19] He easily tears apart Brigandine with his claws and asks Ziggy if he said something about power, telling the Demon King that his mechanical puppet is no match for him. However, he is ambushed by Killer from behind but easily destroys him in retaliation. Jaguar then dashes towards Ziggy who stops him in mid-air with Satan Gravity, which the struggling captain notes of such power. However, Jaguar is quickly struck down by Nero who uses his Empire Dice to pierce through his head, and collapses on the floor with a small pool of blood[20] as his dead body reverts back to his human form.[21]
In the aftermath of the Aoi War, Jaguar's body is recovered by the Interstellar Union Army, confirming his cause of death by Nero's dice.[22]

Powers and Abilities
Jaguar is a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar, a group of six warriors who exist to fight the Oración Seis Galáctica,[23] and in a class of his own even within the Cosmic Government.[24] He was also a former member of the Oración Seis Galáctica, being one of the cosmos's strongest warriors and renowned for crushing entire planets.[25][7] He is capable of taking down hundreds of the Imperial Army troops alone, and easily defeat Fabiano, who is one of the Oceans 6 from the old generation and the strongest soldier in the Nero Empire, impressing Nero himself.[26] Nero acknowledges Jaguar's power to be on equal footing with himself and Ziggy[27], and Brigandine states that Jaguar was the Oración Seis Interstellar's strongest warrior.[6]
Immense Strength: Even without his Ether Gear, Jaguar possesses a great level of physical strength, being able to easily destroy one of Deep Snow's thick walls with his bare hands.[28]
Jaguar Transformation Ether Gear: Jaguar possesses an unnamed Ether Gear that allows him to transform into a humanoid jaguar, befitting his name and epithet of the "Beast Lord". His claws are strong enough to tear people into bloody pieces with ease and he becomes very durable, capable of brushing off a direct hit from hard materials, such as the Aoi Crystal. When activated, his Ether marks appear around his right eye and his clothes changed with him upon transforming.[29]
- Enhanced Strength: When in this form, Jaguar's already tremendous physical strength is increased, being able to break through Fabiano's body, despite the latter claiming that his Ether Gear makes his body as hard as Aoi Crystal, and drag the Oceans member through the ground before throwing him at a wall with enough force to form a crater as he crashes.[29] He is able to easily destroy Brigandine and Killer, who are members of the Demon King's Four Dark Stars, despite their attempts to ambush him.[30]
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Jaguar is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, having fought his way through hundreds of soldiers to reach Deep Snow. He also uses his jaguar form in conjunction to take down multiple opponents with ease through swipes.[31]
Equipment
Jaguar's Commando Carrier: The captain's unnamed shuttle-themed spaceship in the Interstellar Union Army, a large commando carrier.[17]
