Nero 1 (ネロ１ Nero 1?), also known as The Temple (神殿 Shinden?), is a planet located in the Aoi Cosmos where Poseidon Nero of the Oración Seis Galáctica resided, and was the capital of the Nero Empire.
Description
Nero 1 appears to be a planet that has a surface that is made up mostly of water. Many landmasses, big and small, can be seen on the planet's surface from space and the atmosphere above has what appears to be a few light cyclones. The planet itself is orbited by two small natural satellites, and half of the planet appears to be submerged in the middle of a stream of space water, which splits and flows around the planet before reforming on the other side. The cities of Nero 1 are technologically advanced, having tall buildings and skyscrapers that are tightly packed together with a few floating structures, and seem to be surrounded by tall, mountain-like rock formations.[1]
According to Laguna Husert, The Temple is protected by a defense fleet of 60,000 ships that would destroy any civilian ship even if it comes close, and has 100,000 battlecruisers standing by on the planet.[2] Fabiano states that a single division of the Interstellar Union Army shouldn't be able to break through Nero 1's Imperial defensive zone.[3]
There are 20,000 electronically controlled Imperial Antimatter Bombs lying unused in The Temple and each bomb has enough power to turn a small planet into dust.[4]
History
Foresta arc
On Nero 1, Nero assembled his top officials, the Oceans 6 and his son Shura in a meeting, where he discusses with them about Ziggy and his actions at Foresta.[5][6]
Sandra arc
One week later after the Oceans 6 wiped out the innocent bots of Salton and five other planets and covered it up on the Aoi News as robot revolts similar to the Foresta incident, Shura makes a public announcement where he rallies their support and declares Judgement Day on the robots at Nero 1, which sparks chaos on every planet of the Aoi Cosmos.[7]
Nero 66 arc
Nero 1 is under attack by Jaguar of the Oración Seis Interestelar and his fleet, and Rickard and his Dettcom android army as they engaged the Imperial Army ships in space and deployed troops on the ground for an invasion of The Temple where Nero takes refuge at the Deep Snow Imperial palace.[8]

The planet is located in an unspecified part of the Aoi Cosmos.[9]
