Amira (アミラ Amira?) is an agent from the Galactic Intelligence Agency.[1] In Universe 0, she is a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar under the codename of Face (フェイス Feisu?).[2]
Appearance
Amira is a young curvy woman of average height with brown eyes and blonde hair. Her hair has pigtails on the ends with a green leaf-shaped hairpin on it and wears a diamond-shaped necklace. Her attire consists of an open, long-sleeved black jumpsuit with stocking-like edges, a knee-pack around her right thigh, and matching high-heeled shoes.[3]
On Digitalis, she creates an avatar with the appearance of a bespectacled young prince with curly dark hair, wears a light-colored dress shirt, pants, and a long-sleeved coat draped around her avatar's shoulders.[4]
Personality
Amira is a very meticulous spy in her work as a Galactic Intelligence Agency member and seeks to capture Drakken even if it means sacrificing people outside her mission, be they humans, Machines, or Digitalis NPCs.[5] She also shows that she has a somewhat perverse sense of humor.[6]
Amira can be quite manipulative as she gains Shiki's trust when allying herself with the Edens Zero crew to take down Drakken by asking to start over as friends than enemies with an empty apology, knowing that Shiki can't resist the word "friend" after looking through Homura's memories.[7]
Synopsis
Universe 0
Digitalis arc

On Digitalis, Amira impersonates Homura and masquerading her avatar as a prince. She rides on a Turn-to-Timonium and meets Rebecca and Happy.[8] She manages to deceive them and discusses about the oddness of her mount. When Weisz, with a skimpy female avatar, arrives and explains its description.[9] They are soon greeted by Pino, surprising them with her human avatar with rabbit ears. Lastly Shiki arrives, with an overtly muscular avatar with a small head, where Rebecca forces him to change it to a more appropriate avatar, where he makes it his normal self with longer hair and tribal clothing.[6] Afterwards Rebecca warns them about not breaking the planet's rules, which Amira asks about the consequences if they do. Happy explains that they will get a ban, get kicked out, and never be able to return to Digitalis.[10]
They visit a nearby town to search for Hermit, where she spots another Turn-to-Timonium, being told by Pino that they are called Tantimo for short. They meet an NPC, who welcomes them to Drimille and explains about NPC, recalling how before he could only utter a single line over and over again, making Amira remark her sympathy for him. After saying goodbye, Amira notes how the realism of the world will make it hard for them to distinguish players from the NPCs. She notes that they must stay vigilant in case of players with bad intentions, they split up to ask around town where Amira converses with two village girls.[11] Afterwards, Amira convene with the others at Benjamin's Inn, having found out that someone may have seen her in a town to the north, and decide to sleep for the night.[12] The next morning, Rebecca comically scolds her crewmates and Amira about their bizarre sleeping habits.[13]
The group heads off to the next town, chatting about the planet's realism, Amira comments on how astounded to experience the taste and smell of the virtual world.[14] A monster appears, just as Shiki was talking about facing one. Before he fights it, the monster pleads for them to listen to him.[15] He warns them that the mass murderer Jamilov, is in the town in the north, Crysta, killing players and NPCs alike. Shiki asks about Hermit, where he informs them that he has seen her stare off on the hills outside of town. They continue off, not caring about the danger they will face. They find the town in ruins, where Amira notes the lack of people there. They spot a person coming out of a building, lacking half of her face, and quickly stabbed with a scythe.[16] Jamilov reveals himself, comes out and complains about the NPC and about finding guy players at an Inn, showing them their bodies pierced through a pole and finds that they are still alive. She calls him a fiend for keeping them from logging out. Shiki confirms they are dead and Jamilov formally introduces himself to them, claiming to be an affiliate of Drakken Joe. Amira informs the others about the Oración Seis Galáctica and their dreaded reputation as planet destroyers.[17]
She watches as the players' bodies disappear from the pole, signifying their deaths in both the virtual world and in real life.[18] An enraged Shiki charges towards Jamilov as the murderer's scythe bites off his long hair, Amira witnesses the monstrous weapon's growth and dodges as it rushes towards them.[19] Jamilov decides to retreat after Shiki throws the remains of the tower at him, where she and the others gather. They are soon found by the surviving townspeople, who thanks them for getting rid of Jamilov and tells them that Hermit is by the hill on the west side of town.[20] Before they go to the hills, Amira tells Weisz that she is going to check out the city.[21] She strolls through the streets of Crysta, where she is called into an alley by Jesse who comments about the waste of her natural beauty after seeing her prince disguise. Amira remarks how silver-tongued he is, telling him that her undercover job is going flawlessly and that Shiki trusts her.[22]
Later at night, Amira rejoins the group at Benjamin's Inn and discusses what happened with Hermit.[23] They soon hear the bells ringing and sees the uproar of the townsfolk. They go out to investigate, whereupon they see a large horde of monsters coming.[24] She stands by as Shiki defeats a bunch of them, where he soon goes off to Hermit as a group of flying monsters head in the bot's direction. She sneaks off as the others prepare to fight and turns on her private chat mode, where she inquires about Jesse's safety, which he confirms. She notes the strange situation they are mixed in, asking about Jamilov's location to finish her job quickly and owes her fellow spy. Amira comments that Shiki and his crew are not bad people, but have served their purpose after Jesse asks about her abandoning them.[25]
In the western forest, she finds Jamilov and requests to join his ranks, saying that she will do anything.[26] She arrives back at town with Jamilov, taking an imp soldier's crossbow and aims for a little girl NPC but Shiki intercepts, getting hit in the arm. Jamilov comments that he did not think she would kill her own ally. However, Amira firmly claims that he is not her ally.[27] They are shocked that their friend is betraying them. She tells him that the girl he's protecting is nothing more than computer data, but he counters that she is a living person. She responds that she is only running her fear emotion program, but Shiki states she has a heart. She tells him that she will be joining Drakken Joe and pretends that Homura's search for Valkyrie was a ruse. She warns them that it is their last chance, if they stand in her way, then she will have to remove them as she aims them with the crossbow. However, Jamilov orders the imps to open fire, making her look back.[28]

Before the arrows hit, the real Homura arrives and cuts them. She explains how she was in a jail cell when she arrived and took two days to escape and gather the information that led her here. She angrily points at her impostor. This agitates Amira, claiming that she was so close.[29] With her plan failing and Jamilov deciding to kill everyone, she makes her escape, but Homura goes after her.[30] In the forest Amira summons her steed, where Homura does the same. She is called out for her odd riding posture and remembers that she does not need to mimic her behavior anymore. She explains that she can copy a person's appearance, personality, and memories. She took the liberty of using Homura to help her get close to Jamilov. However, because the mission has failed, she states that she wants her pursuer to disappear now. Introducing herself as a member of the Galactic Intelligence Agency, Homura points out how a spy like her is loose-lipped as she is, surprising Amira as she was still copying Homura's personality tic.[31]
As the chase continues, Amira expresses that her objective was to use Jamilov to take on Drakken Joe, her actual target. The spy tells Homura that she could have used anyone's account, but had used her's due to having the least amount of security. Amira talks to herself about how Jesse knows Homura, confusing her pursuer. She loads her gun and apologizes to her pursuer, saying that if she stayed in her cell in she would not have to die. She fires, but Homura deflects it and each subsequent bullet. Amire aims one at the Tantimo's leg, causing Homura to fall off. Amira laughs at the sight and changes her gun into its sniper mode and fires at Homura. However, the swordswoman manages to deflect it back to her at such a distance, surprising the agent, and logs out just before it hits. She exits her pod and reflects upon that moment, before smiling that no one will ever catch her.[32]
On the planet Brown Sea, Amira relaxes on a beach while talking with Jesse, reassuring him that she did not expose him, despite Jesse reminding her that Homura saw through her disguise. In turn, Amira chides him for not changing his avatar on Digitalis despite being a secret agent. She comments that her fellow G.I.A. colleague worries too much for her and states that she manages to locate Jamilov, or rather Spider, with the intent to infiltrate Drakken's lair, the Belial Gore with her Mirror Face.[33]
Belial Gore arc
World No. 30

Amira manages to infiltrate the Belial Gore as one of the club dancers and used the club Spica as her base for gathering intel. After a week, she heard that a girl named Labilia was taken prisoner by Drakken. She decides to take the opportunity to get closer to the Dark Alchemist by rescuing Labilia and taking her place. She outlines the situation to the B-Cuber, sending her to hide in the club and banning her from going online with her B-Cube channel until her job is done.[34] Amira sits in her cell disguised when Rebecca and her friends arrive. Acting as the B-Cuber, she asks them what's going on and to get her out of her cell, when they notice the arrival of Sibir.[35]

After escaping her cell, Sibir leads them to a storage room with no security cameras. Amira demands an explanation, which Rebecca tells her to be patient and stop shouting. She sits silently in a corner, listening to the others' conversation. When Amira hears about Drakken, she comments how he's a wannabe hipster geezer and calls him a creep.[36] She listens as the crew plans to take down Drakken's life support system and their intent to defeat him. She stops Sibir from persuading them to leave, understanding that Drakken wants to travel back in time to maintain his body, she gets interested and decides to reveal herself and help them.[37]
At first they do not recognize her, which she remembers that only Homura knows her real appearance and briefly puts on her prince disguise from Digitalis to refresh their memory, shocking them. She calms the group down, dispelling her prince facade, stating that she showed them her face because she trusts them and wants them to trust her. Amira introduces herself and states that she is on a mission to chase Drakken down and that everything that happened on Digitalis was a part of that. She states that she could have tricked anyone to get into Digitalis and that she had no intention of killing them unless she got exposed, saying that it is part of the job. She answers Rebecca that Labilia is fine, explaining how she got on the ship and freed and rescued Labilia, making her stay at the club she used as a base. She then took her place because her line of work means she has gone through torture training, saying that while she may not look like it, she is actually a nice girl.[38]

Weisz notes that she takes serious risks, Amira explains that Drakken does not kill people and figured that it was her best chance to get close to him. She states that because if she can get close to him, she can use her Mirror Face to become Drakken, briefly demonstrating her ability. She adds that while she cannot copy a person's abilities, she can copy their memories and their thoughts. Amira answers Sibir's question that she wants to know his weakness as her mission was to bring it back to her organization, saying that they should save it for later. She then says that thanks to them she could go back now that she knows how to defeat Drakken. However, since they want to beat Drakken she wants to join them in their plan. She is dismayed to see that Shiki is still skeptical, she apologizes for what happened on Digitalis and wants to start over as friends. Shiki believes her, while she thinks to herself how she knows about his susceptibility to the word "friend" from Homura's memories. After this, she asks them if they can show her the way to the Life Support Device.[39]
Suddenly the floor is turned into Glia Tar and the group begins sinking. Drakken reveals himself, having used his Ether Gear Alchemist to change the floor. Just as he reaches to get Rebecca, Shiki uses his Satan Gravity to make the tar floor fall, freeing everyone. Amira is in awe of the boy's power over gravity and falls through the floor with the others.[40] Landing on the floor below safely, Amira reminds everyone that they should use this opportunity to get to the Life Support Device while Shiki fights Drakken. She is perplexed by their lack of faith in their crewmate and states that all of them are going to be needed to defeat Drakken and explains each of their roles, apart from Mosco, which she gives him a comical role. Ignoring the latter's complaint, she and the group head off to the Life Support Device's location with Sibir leading the way.[41]
Arriving at the location, Amira hums to herself and informs the group that there is a secret behind this device that they will never believe. Suddenly, Jinn appears before them, telling the group that he will eliminate all who trespass there. She watches as Mosco tries to stop him, but gets attacked instead.[42] Before a battle ensues, she tells the others to stop and notes that the cyborg is in charge of guarding the place before asking him if he knows what the Life Support Device is for. She calls him by his real name and notes his relation to Kleene of the Element 4, much to his alarm. She states that finding out everything about Drakken's organization is her job and gets straight to the point. She explains that they know that the device is what keeps Drakken young and asks the group where does it get the energy from. She then reveals that the device powers itself by absorbing the life force of the people living around it, resulting in the lives of countless people from the Belial Gore and previously Guilst and Norma, being taken from them and added into Drakken's life force, shocking the everyone. She answers Happy's question that she does not know how exactly it works, but states that the citizens of the Belial Gore have no idea that a little bit of their life force is being taken away from them every day by the device that uses the energy to keep Drakken alive. Amira bluntly reveals that the Element 4 are no exception and that Drakken is stealing their life force too, including Kleene's, shocking Jinn.[43]
Amira answers Weisz's question that victims whose life force has been drained over a long period of time will suffer a shorter lifespan, having heard that the unlucky ones die. Seeing an upset Weisz running, she tells Rebecca and Happy to bring him back as they need him to remodel the Life Support Device. She explains to Pino that there is no point in stopping the device and that they have to put it in reverse to give the people's life force back and make Drakken weaker. Amira growls in annoyance that they needed Weisz to do that and wonders what has gotten into him. Suddenly Hermit contacts the group, where Amira recognizes her from Digitalis. Amira asks what they need to destroy which Hermit specifies the Security Device. She pleads Jinn to take Sister's offer to heal Kleene and help them. She smiles in relief when Jinn chooses to betray Drakken for his sister's sake and destroys the Security Device with his Wind Ether Gear.[44] After Hermit finishes her hacking on the Life Support Device to reverse Drakken's energy flow, Amira answers Sibir's question with the reassurance that if her predictions are correct, the Dark Alchemist will be weakened.[45] Suddenly, the Life Support Device starts exploding and the room starts falling apart, making a panicking Amira wonder what is happening before telling the group that they are getting out of there. She watches as Pino is saved by Sibir from some falling debris and tells them to pick up the pace or be left behind.[46] Amira and the group runs as fast as they can to escape the crumbling room.[47]

After escaping, Amira and the others find Shiki and Weisz. She stands over Drakken lying on the ground and comments that they actually took down the Sakura Cosmos' biggest threat, seeing it as a big deal. Rebecca's group arrives and Homura recognizes her in surprise, Amira awkwardly greets the irritated swordswoman and sweetly claims that she is Shiki's new friend, acting as if it is the first time they are meeting and tries to calm her down. After the defeat of Drakken, Amira calls in the Interstellar Union Army where they arrested the Dark Alchemist and launched an investigation on the Belial Gore and its inhabitants. Amira reassures Weisz that she will smooth things out for the debt victims.[48]
