Feather (フェザー Fezā?) is a Commander of the Interstellar Union Army[2] and one of the Oración Seis Interstellar.[3]
Appearance
Feather is a curvaceous young woman with long wavy white hair (Aquamarine in the anime)[1][4] and wears a blue and gray skintight outfit with feather themed headdress, a long cape draped on her shoulders[2] and long legged boots.[5] She normally keeps her eyes closed.[6] When opened, they display a segmented plus-shape.[7]
When activating her Ether Connect[8] or occasionally her Ether Gear, Ether lines appear over her eyes.[9]
Personality
Feather is a reserved woman who rarely speaks, keeping quiet.[3] When she does speak during a Prayer Council, she does so to address important things.[10] Even in battle, she remains calm and collected, not letting anything distract her.[11][12] Feather is very confident, believing that nothing can get past through both her fleet and her Ether Gear to outrun her pursuit.[13][14]
Synopsis
Red Cave arc
Feather attends a Prayer Council via transmission with her fellow Oración Seis Interstellar members albeit in silence as they discuss about Elsie Crimson having arrived in the Aoi Cosmos where the Armored Space Pirate's fellow Oración Seis Galáctica member, Poseidon Nero, resides and as Justice immediately volunteers to go after her. Afterward, they pray and end their Prayer Council.[3]
Nero 66 arc
In the aftermath of the Aoi War, Feather attends a Prayer Council, opening her eyes and states that now there are four Galáctica members left, surprising Holy. She notes that Elsie is not a significant threat to them at this point, much to Justice's ire. Afterward, they pray and end their Prayer Council.[10]
X495 arc
Feather leads her forces to Blue Garden after locating Shiki and his crew with her Ether Gear while her ships surround the planet. With her troops standing in formation outside the Shooting Starlight guildhall, she informs them that their targets will emerge from the building soon, ordering to shoot on sight.[15] Using her Ether Gear, she sees them emerging together.[7]
Waiting for her targets to leave the building, Feather silently ignores the nearby civilians gossiping about her. When Shiki's group appears before them, she orders her forces to open fire and reassures that their bullets will not hit anyone, as she can see it. She states to her troops that she was right as the ballistics were a diversion and orders them to keep firing while she uses Ether Connect to Team Alpha. Raising her right hand, she tells them to seize the crew.[16]
After her Connect Team is defeated, Feather is about to resort to using something unspecified but see Shiki appearing right in front of her. She is shocked that he is not in a location she foresaw, noting how there has never been such a large discrepancy before. Feather is patted on the shoulder by Shiki who bids her farewell and leave with his crew. She tries to go after them herself but realizes that she is stuck after Shiki's gravity pinned her to the ground. Watching them leave, she declares that she will not let them get away as her ships has the Edens Zero surrounded.[13]
After her armada fails to follow the Edens Zero through a debris field, Feather pilots her personal starfighter and pursues them at full speed. When the Edens Zero fires at the asteroids to create a cloud of debris in front of her, she states that their attempt will not work, as her Eye of Venus tells her exactly where they are. However, she realizes too late that they are trying to obstruct her path, while evading the asteroids with her starfighter. After the Edens Zero escapes via fast travel, Feather is contacted by Holy who comments that the Edens Zero crew got away and is told to trade places, confusing her. Upon hearing that Shiki's group is going to Lendard, Feather asks where did Holy get this information.[17]
Lendard arc
After Holy informed her of having an alliance with two Galáctica members; Shiki and Elsie,[18] Feather relays this information to Justice who is already in the Kaede Cosmos and shows up on Lendard.[19] She also reports to Cure and Eraser about the presence of so many Galáctica members in one place before she and her two comrades are on their way to Lendard.[20] Upon arriving with her fleet of Racer ships, Feather learns from Victory about Justice's orders to treat Elsie's space pirates and the Edens Zero as allies, though she remarks that if they do not shoot, they will be shot at.[21]
Feather agrees with Eraser's remark on the sheer number of Dragons, noting how they are all controlled by God Acnoella. She is then learns from Cure that all the Oracion Seis Galáctica are here, including Saintfire Nox, are on Lendard. She is surprised and confused as her Eye of Venus did not detect the Archbishop.[22] Contacting Eraser in a private channel, Feather informs him that something is wrong with her Ether Gear and reveals to him that the Brain Dust is completely unmanned with Cure nowhere to be found.[23]
After Eraser exposes Crow's core by erasing the regenerated spot, Feather contacts the Edens Zero where she informs Hermit that she used their data link to upload the precise trajectory for the Star Bringer they possessed. Opening her eyes, the commander advises a surprised Hermit to hurry as Crow is ready to attack.[24] Feather confirms to the Edens Zero crew about the eradication of Crow and Cure. She explains to them that the Oración Seis Interstellar have never met in person, having only held their Prayer Council online and only spoke to each other via communication channels during joint operations. The commander states that she holds no interest in her allies' locations until today, when she found that Cure's Brain Dust was unmanned. She reveals that Cure's location shared the same with Crow's for 13 years, expressing her shame for not realizing it. Although she is blankly unamused when Eraser bluntly states that none of the Interstellar knew the truth and they all screwed up, calling themselves stupid. The female Interstellar remarks in lamentation that it was her fault for not taking interest in her friends because of her negligence. However, Feather becomes silent when Hermit questions her if she can really call them her friends.[25]
Feather closes her eyes for a while[26] before sensing that the Dragons have ceased functioning all at once in Lendard and, learning from the Midnight, in space as well.[27] Entering the underground chamber with her starfighter, the commander informs the apprehensive Rebecca, Weisz, and Happy, that she has no intention of fighting them. After Eraser returns an unconscious Homura to them, Feather informs the three that they should leave Lendard quickly because the Chronophage is coming this way.[28] When Shiki arrives, Feather reassures the Demon King that Justice has been informed of the approaching Chronophage and that he and Elsie can escape when it becomes necessary. After Shiki transports his friends back to the Edens Zero, a surprised Feather recognizes it to be Wormhole, formerly owned by the late Nero, after tracing their movements with her Eye of Venus. The commander notes that she lost Ziggy's positional information and confirms Eraser's statement of Shiki defeating his grandfather as a certainty.[29]
