Dragonfall (ドラゴンフォール Doragonfōru) is the 105th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.
As the Edens Zero passes through Dragonfall, seeing the wake of the Edens One, they are chased by a flight of dragons. They defend themselves until they find water suspended in space, entering the Aoi Cosmos.
Summary
The crew arrives at Dragonfall and marvel at the sight of countless dragons filling the space before them. Homura questions how they get past such a large amount of dragons, to which Witch answers that they must fly through at full speed. Hermit reveals that the cascades of dragons form a web which completely surrounds the Sakura Cosmos, making circumventing them impossible but Sister reassures the crew that dragons would only attack them in rare circumstances. Pino points out that some of the dragons near to them are already dead and the crew realizes that all of the dragons in the local region have been slaughtered. Hermit deduces that they are following in the wake of the Edens One which has forced its way through the dragons using extreme firepower which Witch believes may indicate they have their own version of Etherion. Witch orders everyone to battle stations in case they need to fight as they make their way through Dragonfall.
Suddenly an alert breaks out on the ship as a surviving dragon begins to pursue them. The dragon is swiftly joined by more dragons and the Edens Zero is unable to evade them, even flying at high speed. Witch orders that they fire a barrage of shots which causes some damage among the dragons though Homura is struggling as marksmanship is not within her skillset. Jinn offers to take over from her since he can't afford to have the ship destroyed. Homura is briefly stunned and Jinn is quick to clarify that he hasn't forgiven her for hurting Kleene Rutherford. Kleene intervenes and claims Homura did nothing wrong to her, and that Drakken Joe is to blame, so at her request Jinn instantly forgives Homura.
Unable to destroy the dragons quickly enough, and unable to outrun them, Hermit unlocks the Ether Link Ammo for the Edens Zero which draws upon the Ether Gears of the shooters to enhance the ammo of their guns. Rebecca's guns transform into a super rapid-fire machine gun thanks to her Cat Leaper which hits a dragon with a quick barrage of shots. Jinn's guns fire a coiling gale with his Wind Ether Gear which traps one of the dragons. Weisz modifies his bullets with his Machina Maker to form a giant net and captures a dragon pursuing them. Homura's gun transforms into a giant Ether sword with her Soul Blade to fend off a dragon. Shiki activates his Overdrive as he uses his Satan Gravity to fuel his Ether gun; creating a Super Gravity Cannon which destroys several dragons at once and allowing the Edens Zero to finally escape the Sakura Cosmos. They find themselves surrounded by water suspended in space which contains giant space sea creatures that they narrowly manage to avoid. Hermit sees the space fish out the window and declares that they must be in the Poseidon Nero Sector of the Aoi Cosmos.
