Synopsis
History
Rachel was born on the Planet Miltz in the Yukino Cosmos in the church that has been there for ages, her ancestral home. For generations her family had been required to act as the founders of the church for generations, the women in her family have the power to control time. She was trained to take this role since a young age, but she hated living in the family like this. This eventually caused her to run away, going all the way to the Aoi Cosmos. There she fell in love with Connor, who was a lieutenant commander in the Freedom Force at the time, and they stayed together for 3 years. However, she left him on the day their daughter was born as the church found her.[8]
Initially she did what they wanted, but the fanatics of the group killed Connor, making her turn back time until she found a world where Connor did not die by going back without telling him. After voluntarily going back, she was kept under house arrest. About 4 years later, the fanatics killed Rebecca as they could not accept the girl. This forced Rachel to turn back time thousands of times to try to find a world where they lived together. Unfortunately she could not, when she realized that she was losing her ability to turn back time. As a last resort she sent her daughter to the Sakura Cosmos, with a few believers she trusted.[9]
Lendard arc
At some point, Rachel is kidnapped by Ziggy, who massacred nearly every one of her followers. She is then held captive at Lendard among the tubes of countless deceased mothers.[10] When Shiki's group reaches the center of Lendard, Ziggy appears and explains that they are seeing the bodies of mothers, where he gets the tube where Rachel is stored inside and reveals that she is Rebecca's mother to them.[11] After Shiki and Ziggy battle somewhere else, the Archbishop remains unconscious in her tube with Rebecca's group as they wonder how Ziggy knew of their Operation Planet Eater.[12] Rachel is in her tube as Rebecca's group plans to rescue her and as many of the deceased mothers as they can, planning on waking her and getting information from her after the battle.[13]
Rachel's tube is taken to the Edens Zero by Homura's Warrior Maid 95[14] where Connor recognizes her before Sister Ivry states that she is taking her to the infirmary immediately while she and Hermit Mio reveals to everyone that Rachel is the wife of Connor and the mother of Rebecca.[15] The Archbishop remains inside the tube[16] until she is eventually removed and placed in one of the infirmary's beds.
A week after escaping the Edens One, Rachel remains unconcious.[17][18] She awakens which Sister announces it to the crew, especially to Connor and Rebecca.[19] However, the female Galáctica immediately attacks Sister, tying her down to the floor as Connor and Rebecca arrive, angrily demanding to know what is going on and where she is. When Connor calls calls her, she is astonished to see him and their daughter. After letting go of Sister, Rachel apologizes for tackling her. She explains to everyone in the room that the last thing she remembers is Ziggy attacking the church and assumes she was still under the Demon King's captivity. Turning to Rebecca, she remarks how much her daughter has grown and understands her resentment for being abandoned. Rachel states that anything she says will sound like an excuse, but Rebecca insists that she explains.[20]
Respecting he daughter's wish, Rachel stars she does not know where to begin, but then decides to tell them where she came from. She hails from Miltz, home of the church which has been there for ages. She explains that her family has been required to act as the founder for generations and that she was trained from a young age to take the role herself. Rachel confirms Sister's query that, in simple terms, her church worships "time". She states that women in their family possess the power to control time, asking Rebecca if she knows what she means. She expresses how her resentment of being stuck in a family like that made her run away. She eventually met Connor who was in the Freedom Force at the time. She fondly states that her time with Connor were the best years of her life to the point she could forget her old life. When Connor points out her abandoning them, Rachel reveals that the church had found her. She reveals that at first she did as they wanted until they killed Connor, explaining that the culprits were the church's fanatics. She confirms Rebecca's guess that she turned back time by going to a different world. She states that she kept going back again and again until she found a world where Connor did not die by voluntarily returning to the church without telling him. She continues that she was put under house arrest, but a few years later the fanatics could not accept her daughter, and killed the young Rebecca. Driven to tears, Rachel laments that she watched her daughter die so many times and tried thousands of times to find a world where they lived together, but she could not. Eventually, she realized that she was losing her ability to turn back time and as a last resort she sent her daughter far away, to the Sakura Cosmos.[21]
Wiping away her tears, Rachel tells Rebecca that she tasked a few followers she trusted to be with her and gave them money. She assumes they took the money and ran away instead. On the other hand, she tells everyone that the church started scaling back after that and eventually forgot their ridiculous traditions. When Sister wonders how she became one of the Oración Seis Galáctica, she reveals that it was her mother whose time powers and reputation struck fear into the hearts of everyone in the cosmoses and it was passed on to her after taking her place as church founder. She informs Connor that the church came for her because of her mother's passing. Rachel apologizes to Rebecca for leaving her all alone. After Rebecca expresses her mixed feeling about being abandoned and finally meeting her parents, Rachel tearfully expresses she never stopped thinking about her daughter and that she has always loved her. Rebecca runs to hug her and Connor, the three happy to have been reunited.[22]

Powers and Abilities
Rachel is a member of the Oración Seis Galáctica, a group that is stated to be the cosmos's strongest warriors, being renowned for crushing entire planets.[23] The Interstellar Union Army is wary of Nox[24] and Ziggy admits that capturing her was not an easy task because of her powers over time that identified her as a threat.[10]
Cat Leaper (キャットリーパー Kyatto Rīpā): Rachel possesses this Ether Gear, that is shared among the women in her family, where she was trained from a young age to take the role as the founder of the Church of Saintfire. She is able to perform a "time leap", which allows her to potentially change the outcome of past events by rewinding time.[25] Her mastery over Cat Leaper allows her to easily rewind time thousands of times when she was searching for a world to prevent the deaths of Connor and later Rebecca. However, because of this repetitive use, she eventually did not have the ability to turn back time anymore.[26]
Immense Speed: Rachel has impressive speed, able to incapacitate Sister the second she woke up, to the point where she is fast enough to put Rebecca's own speed to shame.[27]
Equipment
Staff: Saintfire Nox wields an intricate staff.[3]
