Highway Ena (ハイウェイ・ヤナ Haiwei Yana?) is a combatant in the Mildian Battle Coliseum.[1]
Appearance
Highway Ena is pale yellow hyena-like alien, having a prominent snout, sharp teeth and clawed fingers and toes, and has features reminiscing of rabbits; having long, brown tipped floppy ears and a fluffy tail. His eyes have light-blue sclerae and black pupils. He wears a short-sleeved black shirt that has a gear pattern around the collar and black pants with a paw print pattern on the sides. Ether markings appear on his arms when using his Ether Gear.[1]
Personality
Highway Ena is confident in his speed[1] to the point that he claims no weapon can hit him. However once this is disabled, he trembles as he is left with nothing to defend himself.[2]
Synopsis
Mildian arc
Highway Ena is selected as Weisz' opponent in their match at the Mildian Battle Coliseum. When the match begins, Highway Ena starts running around in circles on the arena's walls, proclaiming that his opponent can never catch him with his speed. In response, Weisz exploits a loophole in the match's rules and uses Pino's Electromagnetic Pulse as a weapon to disable Highway Ena's Ether Gear in his tracks. This leaves him vulnerable enough for Weisz to comically stomp on him repeatedly until Xiaomei, in utter shock, declares the match is over in Weisz' victory.[3]
Powers and Abilities
Fleet Ether Gear: By using this unnamed Ether Gear, Highway Ena can increase his speed, being able to run on vertical surfaces such as walls.[1] With his speed, he claims that no weapon can hit him.[4]
