Cinta

The versatile Cinta can fire arrows in quick succession, quickly charge a shock wave, or fully charge a powerful focused shot.

Cinta is a Duviri bow wielded by the Dax Arcus. It is capable of firing "perfect" shots when releasing the trigger just before a full charge, resulting in a large projectile for dealing with groups of enemies.

Characteristics

  • This weapon deals primarily  Puncture damage.
  • In addition to uncharged shots, this weapon can fire one of two types of charged shots, depending on where the charge meter is released.
    • Releasing the shot within the window on the latter half of the charge, indicated by white brackets and the reticle turning yellow, will perform a "Perfect Shot", firing an energy shockwave dealing pure  Heat damage, guaranteed  Knockdown, and a significantly larger projectile with Infinite Body Punch Through.
    • Releasing the shot when the meter is fully charged will perform a "Charged Shot", firing a single arrow dealing heavy  Puncture damage, with higher critical chance and critical multiplier than that of Perfect Shots.

Notes

  • There is a gap between the Perfect Shot window and full charge where releasing the charge will fire uncharged shots instead.

Trivia

  • Cinta is the Malay/Indonesian word for "love".
  • Prior to Update 33.5 (2023-06-21), the Cinta had an Alternate Fire that could prime landmines while having the player leap backward. This feature was only intended for the Dax Arcus enemy, and was removed from the player version due to animation oddities and low damage.

Patch History

Update 37.0 (2024-10-02)

  • Fixed Cinta icon appearing grainy.

Update 35.5 (2024-03-27)

  • Cinta’s main Blueprint is now tradeable!

Update 33.5 (2023-06-21)

  • Fixed the Cinta having an unintended alt-fire attack.
    • The “alt-fire” in question (deploy mines and launch the player backwards) was only ever intended and designed for the Dax Arcus enemy. In classic mainline fashion, it slipped by onto the player-owned version accidentally and for that reason had numerous issues (animation weirdness and low damage).

Hotfix 33.0.1 (2023-04-27)

  • Fixed Clients not hearing or seeing the Host’s Cinta’s SFX/VFX.

Update 33.0 (2023-04-26)

  • Introduced.
