As a trainee, Keneth spent a lot of time with Lazlo, Snowe, Paula, Jewel and Tal, and they even graduated together. Keneth seems to be a staunch follower of Lazlo's, as he can be one of the two Gaien Knight, along with Chiepoo, who can accompany him when Lazlo is exiled from Gaien by Katarina. He and his friends were picked up by a Kooluk ship with Colton and Troy on board, but when they heard that Razril was being spied on, one of their companion gasped giving away their link to the Dukedom and forced them to reveal that they were former Knights of Gaien. One of the former knight asked if Troy was the man that Commander Glen Cott was talking about during the Gaien Knights graduation ceremony.
Keneth can met Katarina once more at the Nest of Pirates, just after she was washed ashore and taken to Kika's room to recuperate. Katarina was horrified to see that Lazlo and his friends were still alive. They explained that they were trying to find a way to prove Lazlo's innocence, but Katarina dismissed it, still criminalizing Lazlo for Commander Glen's death. At the shores of the Nest of Pirates, he encountered Snowe, who had traded Razril to the Kooluk forces and earned himself a position of esteem. Snowe, thinking that his friends had turned to piracy, decided to attack them, but he lost and retreated. Keneth, in a fit of rage, urged Lazlo to follow Snowe all the way to the shores of Razril - which he did. Snowe was captured and cast out at sea. After the Island Liberation War, he became the Vice-Commander of the Knights of Razril.
Suikoden Tactics
At the Fall of Kooluk, Keneth and Katarina hunted the imposters who used their names in bad ways. On Fort El-Eal, they found the imposters and fighted them along with Kyril, a young man who responded on their request at the Middleport Quest Guild. After the imposters were defeated, Keneth and Katarina joined Kyril's band.
While he was on Kyril's group, he continued to support Katarina. He was happily reunited with his old friends and they did a lot of catching up. After the Evil Eye is destroyed, he went back to Razril with Katarina.
Before starting on your first mission, you can choose two of the four Razril Knights. If you choose Keneth, he will join. If not, Keneth will join automatically when liberating Razril.
Keen: You have done well by coming here. In this room, you may confess what is in your heart and accept proper judgement.
Keneth: I see... Okay. I guess I'll answer a little seriously.
Keen: Would you secretly inform me about anyone on board this ship who you think is causing problems?
Keneth: Hmm... let me think... It is not that they are up to anything, but every so often, I see someone doing nothing. I think they should worry more about what they ought to be doing, but... I suppose I'm as guilty as anyone here.
Keen: Then, would you tell me what you think of Lazlo?
Keneth: Lazlo, huh... I think he's a strong guy.
Keen: Finally, quietly confess the things you wish to atone for, or all the things that you are thankful for.
Keneth: There is nothing... I believe I am doing everything that I can right now. I need not be ashamed of myself.

Is it all right for us to think only of the Knights and their safety? No, right?
I talk often with the other Knights and everyone's saying you've matured quite a bit. I think so, too. Let's try our best to get through this together.
