Hervey
"I've never been one to turn down a good fight. Grab hold of something -- this ship's about to rock!"
Hervey "the Furious" is a pirate, and is the (self-proclaimed) "most dashing pirate on the high seas". He tried doing' the free agent thing alone, long time ago. He devote his self to Lady Kika for the rest of his life. His hot-tempered personality occasionally gets him into trouble, but Kika does a good job keeping him in line.
Appearance
In Suikoden IV, he appeared to have a brown eyes with brown hair and scar on his right cheek. He wears a red bandana and he uses a sword. His appearance doesn't change in Suikoden Tactics. The color of his eyes in Genso Suikoden Pachisuro change into green ones, but his physical appearance is still the same.

Suikoden Tactics (Prelude)
Before the Island Liberation War, in his younger years, Hervey shared a fierce rivalry with Sigurd. At one point, while he stayed at Middleport, he is recruited by Walter to investigate the pirate Steele. On their way, he is ambushed by Sigurd, who is then under the employ of Schtolteheim Reinbach II. During their duel, Steele ambushes them both, but they are saved by Brandeau and Edgar of the Nest of Pirates. After Steele was killed, Hervey, along with Sigurd, joined Kika and served as her right-hand man. He learned all sorts of thing from Dario. For unknown reasons, Hervey stayed with Sigurd to help Lady Kika.
Suikoden IV
During the Island Liberation War after the Kingdom of Obel was conquered by the Kooluk, he joined Lazlo's army along with Kika and the other pirates. At Kika's request, he helped Lazlo to recruit Elenor Silverberg. After the war ended, he continued to support Kika along with Sigurd.
Suikoden Tactics
At the Fall of Kooluk, he helped Kika and Kyril. While with Kyril's group, he made sure that Nalleo would not grow to be like Dario and he even shared his food with him. While he and Sigurd trained Nalleo, Nalleo became more tough and fast. Hervey thinked that Nalleo was ganging up with them. After the Evil Eye, was destroyed, he continued serving Kika until she died.
If you visit the Nest of Pirates during Chapter 10 on a Fire or Water day, Hervey and Sigurd will join you. If you visit on an Earth or Wind day, you'll get Dario and Nalleo instead, but you can return to pick up the other two after Chapter 14.
