Lazlo went to the Nay Island under King Lino En Kuldes's request. On Nay Island, he met Oleg who was placing his camera at the top of the hill, Oleg invited Lazlo and his party to stay at the inn and sleep. At the inn, when everyone was sleeping, Lazlo noticed a strange event where a light of beam struck an Island. The next day, Lazlo and Oleg checked the camera which had recorded the event. They immediately went to the Kingdom of Obel and reported it to King Lino En Kuldes.
Oleg joined Lazlo and King Lino to fight Kooluk forces and became a member of the Island Liberation Navy. While he was on board on the Dauntless, there is a certain people who asked him to place a camera in the bath but he declined. After the war, he attempts to sell his clever, new inventions, but no one ever takes him seriously.
