During the Island Liberation War, due to the war going on, Jango and Brec can't do their piracy properly and they want to get back pillaging the sea again, so they decided to sneak in to Lazlo's room and joined in the Island Liberation Navy.
While he was on board on the Dauntless. He likes the food that is serve to him and often got angry if he got lesser food than everyone. After the war, he works hard as a pirate and loves every second of it. He hasn't taken a bath in months.
Keen: You have done well by coming here. In this room, you may confess what is in your heart and accept proper judgement.
Brec: Yeah? No kidding...
Keen: Would you secretly inform me about anyone on board this ship who you think is causing problems?
Brec: Oh, now that you mention it... There's a real annoying one... Keeps yelling at me about taking a bath and stuff... My hygiene is my own damn business!!
