In the game's ending, Raphael and Johnny are seen at the airport where they're getting ready to leave for their flight back to the United States. Mamoru Tōdō hands Raphael a set of flowers as a gift, though he throws them out in the trash as he leaves. Raphael and Johnny have both befriended Kunio after the tournament, though this is not shown in-game. In the Game Boy version of the game, Johnny is handed the pair of flowers by Mamoru instead of Raphael.
In the localization Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge, Raphael was replaced by Crusher, which uses the face of Riki and is now a member of Team Thornley. Raphael's face would be used on Hayato Ichijō's replacement, Noise and on Ryūichi Hattori's replacement, Artie.

Guan Yu (Kunio) will ask Zang Ba if any of the troops do special training in Lu Bu's army as he was looking to bulk up, to which Zang Ba will ask if he'd like to join him in training. Zang Ba will then be waiting on the Xiapi Highroad where he will have Guan Yu fight against a group of new recruits as part of his training. On the second match, Zang Ba will describe Guan Yu as a special instructor and ask some of his troops to spar against him. In this fight, Zang Ba will also spar against Guan Yu as a mini-boss. Upon being defeated, Zang Ba congratulates the new recruits on becoming members of Lu Bu's army.
