Appearances
Go-Go! Nekketsu Hockey Club Slip-and-Slide Madness
Kaori first appears during the game's intro where she is seen watching Yōichi talk to Kunio and Shinichi about the state of the hockey club while they are walking home from Nekketsu High School. When Kunio beats Yōichi in a practice match, Kaori is seen watching the two's conversation where Yōichi has grown to be more depressed as he thinks there isn't any hope left for the hockey club. Kunio punches Yōichi to the ground in an attempt to knock some sense into him, though Kaori walks out asking Kunio to quit blaming Yōichi as his teammates are the reason why the team has been performing poorly. Throughout the rest of the story, she is writing articles about Nekketsu's victories and taking pictures for her photo album. During the ending of the game, she takes a group photo after Nekketsu High School wins the final match against Daisetsuzan High School and talks about the newly found success of the hockey club in retrospect while she shows off her photo album.
If the player loses a game with a difference of five points, Kaori will beg Yōichi to continue playing, though if refused she will punch him and Kunio to the ground and insult them.

In this continuity, Kaori is an acquaintance of Misako and Kyōko's who tries to talk to them, though she struggles to keep up with their pace.
Kaori will come by Misako and Kyōko while they're looking to get onto Noize's yacht and ask the two if they're in the area for the concert. Kyōko asks Kaori if she has any extra passes, though Kaori laughs it off as a joke because the passes sold out months prior. Kaori informs the two that they were only able to get the tickets in Noize's hometown and when asked by Misako where her hometown was, she replies saying it's in Bunsonville. The two get ready to leave after this, with Kaori appearing disappointed that the two didn't want to hangout.

During the final chapter, Liu Bei will ask Guan Yu (Kunio) to find Pang Tong as a second tactician, as she may have also evacuated with the citizens of Jingzhou. Guan Yu and Liu Bei eventually find Pang Tong in Hanyang, where the two introduce themselves though appear shocked that she already knows of them. Liu Bei states that they're currently working with Sun Quan (Riki) to take a stand against Cao Cao (Yamada) and that they'd like her assistance. Pang Tong asks what Zhuge Liang's current plan is, to which Guan Yu says that it's related to fire-setting. Pang Tong comes up with a plan right away as she reveals that Cao Cao already offered a position to her a while ago and that she could use the invitation as a way to infiltrate his army by providing them with fake advice. From this point, Pang Tong will appear in Lukou as a shopkeep that is able to sell Guan Yu any of the tactics for a hefty price.
River City Girls 2
Kaori first appears during the beginning of the game where the protagonists will run into her at Crosstown's bridge. Kaori asks where the group is headed, to where they respond stating that they're headed down to the game store at the mall. Confused thinking the group were talking about tabletop games, she eventually realizes they meant videogames and marks the location on their phones. The group heads out, and Kaori appears disappointed once again that they don't want to hangout with her.
She later appears at the Ocean Heights beach as apart of a side quest where she'll ask the protagonists to help stop Taiki Yamada from using his magic to kick up sand towards her. The group asks why he's doing it in the first place and Kaori answers that she suspects it's his weird way of trying to flirt with other girls. The protagonists agree to help her to which she thanks them and asks if they'd like to hangout afterwards, though she is told that they're too busy at the moment.
During the sequence where Sabuko straps bombs to the group's friends as a way of keeping them away from the Sanwakai, Kaori will mark the locations where they're currently being held on the map and states that she would've liked to help, though she doesn't see herself as the fighting type.
