Paul debuts in River City Ransom: Underground as one of the playable characters available by default. He uses a boxing fighting style.
River City Girls 2
Paul first appears outside of the mall in Crosstown and greets the protagonists, though ends up scaring to them as he's never met them before. He is asked why he needs to know, to which he informs the protagonists that the yakuza have taken over all the stores. Paul is asked why he's telling them this information, so he replies that he thought they looked like they could use protection and is offering his help. The group laugh it off and gloat about beating up everyone in town to the impression of Paul. He introduces the player to the hired recruit mechanic by explaining that if they ever do end up needing any help and got some cash, he'll be more than happy to help.
From this point on, Paul will remain standing outside of the mall as a hirable assist.
