Gabel 「ガーベル Gāberu?」 is a servant of Lord Orden, head of one of the Northern Lands' three great knightly families.
Description
Not much is known about Gabel's personality. Gabel is a quiet, hardworking man who loyally serves Lord Orden. He possesses many skills, as can be seen when he was tasked by Lord Orden to teach etiquette to Stark in preparation for a ball.
Gabel has short hair which goes down to just below his ears. He has a thick mustache. He usually wears servant attire, which in his case is a formal suit.
Synopsis
History
A month before Frieren and her party arrived at Vorig, Gabel took part in a major battle against demons. He witnessed Lord Orden mourn the death of his son, Wirt, on the battlefield and, along with a few confidants, was one of the few aware of his passing.[1]
Travels to Äußerst Arc
Gabel accompanies Lord Orden when he accosts Frieren's Party outside of the Fortified City of Vorig. Gabel assists Stark and Fern in etiquette training throughout the chapter in preparation for the ball the Orden Estate is hosting in three month's time.
After the ball, Orden instructs Gabel to give Frieren and her party their reward for completing their request. Gabel accompanies them as they select a reward grimoire. For half a day, he silently watches as Frieren struggles to choose, until he appears completely drained of energy.
