Revolteレヴォルテ Revorute?, also known as Divine Revolte (しん) () のレヴォルテ Shingi no Revorute?, lit. "Revolte of Divine Skill"」, is a Demon General. Revolte wields four swords made of magic.

Personality

As a Demon General, Revolte is both strategic and observant. His extensive experience raiding various human villages has given him a deep understanding of human traits, even if he does not fully grasp their motivations. He does not shy away from attacking vigorously and possesses a keen memory, as demonstrated when he recognized Genau as the partner of the first-class mage he killed, using this knowledge to provoke emotional unrest in him.

While ruthless in battle, he is also cautious, especially when facing powerful opponents. For instance, he feels uneasy upon noticing the presence of four mages, three of whom are first-class. Rather than rushing into battle, he prefers to wait and observe, leveraging his understanding of human habits to anticipate enemy movements. He recognizes that his opponents are likely to split up, as humans often leave someone behind to defend their fallen.

Appearance

Revolte is a tall demon with two big, claw-type horns and long, light-colored hair cut into a fringe. On both sides of his face he has two big and deep scars through his eyes that he covers with a mask with circular decoration, five long ornaments dangling over his forehead and two ornaments attached to the bottom of his mask that fall over his cheeks. On his shoulders, he wears a pair of gold pauldrons connected by a pearl-type ornament. He has two pairs of arms. On his wrists, he wears three bracelets.

Around his waist, he wears a decorated scarf. The humanoid resemblance ends after his upper half - from waist down, where most demons have legs, his legs are replaced by a light colored snake's body.

Synopsis

Abilities

  • Expert Swordsman: According to Genau, Revolte moves like a master swordsman, and his unique demon physiology allows him to skilfully wield four swords at once with incredible speed and finesse, overwhelming even multiple opponents with a myriad of strikes in rapid succession, each one being lethal if taken head-on. Rivale's prowess was enough to pressure both Genau, a first-class mage, and Stark, a skilled warrior, at once, leaving almost no opening for counterattacks.[1][2]
  • Physical Abilities: As a demon, Revolte's physicality is incomparable to any human fighter's, warrior or not, being endowed with incredible strength, speed, durability, and stamina that is near-inexaustible.[3] The latter is enough to allow him to shrug off extremely grievous injuries without so much as reacting.[4][5]
  • Divine Cleaving Swords (しん) () (さい) (けん) Shingi no Saiken?, lit. "Crushing Swords of Divine Skill"」: Revolte's blades, named after a sword of mythical times that was said to have smashed a mountain. These sharp blades are magically forged, with Revolte able to alter their weight freely so that they change from being "lighter and pointer than a feather" to "as heavy as a boulder" at a moment's notice.[6] However, if he is unable to maintain magic in his swords, they become brittle and easily breakable.[7]
