Introduction |
Gazelle 「ガゼレ Gazere?」 is a human street vendor and a Shadow Warrior. He is assigned to the mission to assassinate the Great Mage Serie. He runs a small stall that sells various trinkets and items that he claims to be from the Unified Dynasty Era. However, these items are fraudulent.
Personality
When Gazelle is fronting as a street vendor, he appears to be cheerful and sharp. He banters with Frieren and ultimately lets her haggle him down to just four silver coins for the faux vase he is selling. However, Gazelle also appears to have a measured side. He is quick to assess the strength of others, and is very candid that he wouldn't be able to face Stark in a fight. Gazelle later visits Wolf and pays off his tab. He tells Wolf he wanted to pay off his tab before he died, showing both a cynical attitude and a degree of conscientiousness to want to die without debts.
Appearance
Gazelle has short, messy light hair. He wears a dark, high-collared undershirt beneath a lighter-colored outer garment, layered with a black tunic featuring buttons. The rest of his outfit is composed of black trousers and light-colored boots.

Relationships
Wolf
Gazelle appears to frequent the bar that Wolf runs. He has run up an exorbitant tab at the bar, requiring at least four silver coins to pay back his debt. Gazelle visits Wolf before they carry out their mission to assassinate Serie and those protecting her, citing his bad feeling about the mission and his desire to pay off his tab before he dies. Wolf, in turn, tells him not to say that, as it's bad luck.
Abilities
Not much is known about Gazelle's abilities. As a Shadow Warrior, he likely excels in the areas of strength, speed, mana suppression, and anti-mage combat. However, Gazelle believes himself to be no match for Stark. Gazelle's mana detection does not appear to be the strongest, as he was unable to detect the traces of mana that Frieren placed onto the silver coins she paid him with.
