Monks 「
Overview
Monks are trained individuals in body and mind, and, like priests, they are pious and hold religious beliefs, such as in the Goddess of Creation. Monks seem to be quick to share what they have and praise other individuals for being faithful.[1]
During their training, monks complete various tasks, such as copying manuscripts to preserve and pass down older literary works and myths. These manuscripts are kept in monasteries, which are often found in remote locations. Monks might also work in extreme environments to practice honest poverty as part of their training, so some monasteries are exceptionally difficult to reach.[2]

Trivia
- The statue of forgotten heroes in Chapter 34 of the manga is said to be of Kraft and his partner. The official English localization for the class of Kraft's partner is "monk," however, in the original Japanese text, the term 「
僧 侶 Sōryo?」 is used, which is the same term used for priests. Given that monks are later referred to as 「修 道 士 Shūdōshi?」 in Chapter 112, this is likely a mistranslation.
