Parisia is a minor character in Amphibia and the guardian of Proteus.
Appearance
Parisia is a pale red olm, wearing a gray headdress of some sort, with a red bead at the front. She has red and orange fire-like gills, with gold rings, and golden hoop earrings, with gold and red beads dangling from them.
She wears a gray necklace, with one black eye-like bead with a red pupil in the center, as well as red and gray bracelets
Personality
Parisia is a frustratingly stubborn being who is not easily convinced. She prefers it when the olms never have to associate with other amphibians and because of this, she cuts them off from the outside world and whatever she says is what they live by. However, she's capable of admitting when she's wrong but only when someone stands up to her, as best seen when Sasha calls her out for ignoring the danger King Andrias poses to Amphibia, including Proteus.

Behind the scenes
Name and basis
The name "Parisia" may be derived from the Celtic Gallic word "parisio", meaning "working people", while also referring to the Parisii, the name for the Celtic people that lived on the banks of the river Seine in Gaul from the Iron Age to the Roman era. The Parisii lived in what is now the French capital city, Paris, which is named after the Gallic tribe.
Her name may also be a reference to the animal's original discovery by Carl Franz Anton Ritter von Schreibers in the city of Paris.
Voice
Parisia is voiced by Rachel House.
Debut
Parisia made her debut and only appearance in the episode "Olm Town Road".
