Molly is a fictional character from Anne's story Phone Mo in the episode "The Shut-In!". She is based on Polly Plantar.
Appearance
Body
Molly is a girl with light skin and ginger hair tied in a ponytail with a blue scrunchie and a yellow bow on top of her head, just like her amphibian counterpart.
Clothing
She wears a Saint Joe's School shirt like Anna and Twig, but with a pink collar and a pink skirt. She also wears purple boots and carries a pink backpack around.
Background
In Anne's Phone Mo story, Molly is friends with Anna, Haddie, and Broadie, but it is unknown if she and Twig are siblings like the canon Polly and Sprig. When watching a video with Anna and Twig from Anna's cellphone, Haddie and Broadie ask if they have seen the latest cute animal video. Broadie also warns them that the video is cursed and people who watched it have mysteriously disappeared. Though Twig and Anna avoid watching it, Molly does so. However, the curse is real as she, Haddie, and Broadie are zapped into the video one by one. When the video plays on Anna's phone, Molly is seen with Haddie, Broadie, and an old man who was also zapped in the video watching the Screen Fiend while in its cute form.
After Anna destroys the Screen Fiend, Molly is freed along with Haddie, Broadie, and the old man. They notice some strange dark spheres that came out of the Screen Fiend, but Molly eats one and says it's just boba. Twig shows up and informs them a new burger joint has opened and all of them head out. Unaware to them, the boba turns out to be eggs, and mini-Screen Fiends begin to hatch.
