The Dragonfly Drones are Dragonfly-like UAV drones that were stored inside Cloak-Bot to be its minions for range combat. They are first seen in the Season 3 opening theme.
Appearance
They are drones resembling dragonflies. They have slender cyan abdomens, a rounded dark thorax, a large lower mandible, and red insect-like eyes, along with cybernetic wings.
Background
In "Temple Frogs", they are sent by Cloak-Bot to the Thai temple to kill Anne. Everyone sees the drones, Anne and the Plantars realize they are from Cloak-Bot. To avoid suspensions, Anne lies they are from the school vloggers who were trying to get more photos of her. Anne rallies up all of the visitors to the temple to work together and destroy them. The remains are later thrown up, though Mrs. Boonchuy finds it weird that Saint James Middle School would have some advance robotics.
In "The Root of Evil", later in Amphibia, a single dragonfly drone spots Anne and the Plantars on the Fwagon and attaches itself to it as a tracker in hopes of locating their base, but instead ends up in Gardenton. While it is destroyed by Sprig, it is still able to send a distress signal that summons a team of fireclass type Frobots to burn the village to the ground. Though those Frobots failed.
