Jerry is a minor character in Amphibia. He is a street vendor in Newtopia.
Appearance
Jerry is a green-blue axolotl with purple head and tail frills, teal spots, a pale green underbelly, and dull yellow eyes. He has bandages on his wrists and wears a tan vest with a brown patch on the lower left front side, a light brown wrap and brown shorts underneath.
Background
In "Lost in Newtopia", he is running a spicy food stand and attracts customers when Anne and Polly walk up to his stand and order two Extra Spicy Wraps. The spice is so intense that it causes the girls to emit fire from their mouths which ends up torching the roof of Jerry's stand. Anne tries to pay for the damages using the Royal Credit Card but Jerry presents a sign explicitly stating that he only accepts payments in cash. Anne and Polly run away and Jerry tries to chase after them to make them pay. He runs into them again later when they are running from an angry mob of citizens seeking revenge for trying to live like the locals as outsiders, which he joins and tries to grab onto Anne's leg as she attempts to get back on the tour bus, but is attacked when Anne kicks him in the neck in self-defense. Anne then feeds Polly another spicy burrito to breathe fire onto the mob so they go away.
In "Newts in Tights", Jerry appears in Tritonio's flashback to his youth where he joined a gang of thieves and played dead to distract Jerry so the thieves could knock food off his stand and steal from the back then blame it on Tritonio.
