Hornet

Hornets are creatures of Amphibia that Grime put inside his Volcakeno.

Background

In "The Dinner", the hornets awaken when the Volcakeno rises and proceed to attack everyone in the Plantar Farm. Grime gets stung and paralyzed by one, and Sasha attacks them but her daggers have no effect. Anne soon deduces that only their own stingers are able to pierce their thick exoskeletons. With Sasha irritating the hornets and Anne collecting stingers for Marcy to shoot with her crossbow, the girls defeat all of the hornets.
