In "Mr. X", Jenny and Mr. X are called in by the FBI to investigate Aliens that were sighted in Los Angeles by a traffic cam. Jenny and Mr. X arrive in Los Angeles in an ice cream truck disguise as their base of operations. When examining the photo with the Plantars on it, they notice someone on Earth is sheltering the aliens, Mr. X tells Jenny they need to find these aliens before someone gets abducted. However, before beginning their search, they head to Thai Go to get something to eat. Mr. X fixes to question Mrs. Boonchuy if she has seen any aliens disguised as humans in the area. Jenny later appears by the door laptop in hand to inform Mr. X that the human companion was sighted, the two then took off.
When they arrive at the theater, Mr. X goes inside to capture the Plantars and their human companion, while Jenny guards the exit and scans every guest with a device to see if they were humans. Later, Mr. X contacts Jenny about the Plantars being alien frogs, and ordered Jenny to call in the troops. Jenny arrives with some soldiers to capture the Plantars and their human companion, who are corned in the bathroom. Just when the military is about to capture them, the power goes out. As Mr. X uses a flashlight to help see, they saw regular frogs, which makes Mr. X a laughingstock. Mr. X informs Jenny the chase is only beginning and vows to capture the Plantars.
In "Hollywood Hop Pop", after Mr. X saw Hop Pop Plantar on a new commercial and located him at Hollywood, Mr. X contacted Jenny and informed Jenny that he was tailing him and ask Jenny to meet Mr. X at the Water Tower with Reinforcements. Mr. X, Jenny, and some FBI Agents arrived to arrest Hop Pop only to discover it was a human named Humphrey Westwood who almost looked like Hop Pop. Then, Mitch Harper threatend to file a lawsuit against Mr. X with his agents and caused him to go in a breakdown, nonetheless Jenny comforted him. After Mr. X got humiliated once again as well as the agents left, Jenny drove Mr. X to get some ice cream to get over this.
In "Escape to Amphibia", Jenny and Mr. X show their superior images of the Plantars recent sightings in Los Angeles: the highway camera, Sprig taking a museum security, the Hop Pop Commercial, and the attack on the Christmas-Palooza Parade. Jenny's superior demanded Jenny and Mr. X to bring the Plantars in today. Jenny and Mr. X later located the Plantars at SpendCo using one of the security cameras. They arrived to captured, but the Plantars and their human companion: Anne Boonchuy attempt to escape, but Jenny fired a cable gun that tied up Anne's legs, preventing them from escaping. The FBI captured the Plantars and decided to let Anne go, upon seeing she's just a regular girl.
Later, Jenny and Mr. X imprison Anne, her parents, Ally, Jess, Molly Jo, Humphrey Westwood, and two women from the Thai community after luring them into a trap when they try to rescue the Plantars. However, they all manage to escape with the Plantars due to Dr. Jan and Terri stealing the power generator to the FBI's facility. Jenny and Mr. X chase after them, Mr. X jumps on the Gang's van but was knocked off by Sprig. Luckily, thanks to a tracking device that Mr. X placed on the van, they follow them to a warehouse and had them surrounded. Anne taps into her Calamity Powers, stomps them away and uses her powers to make the portal bigger.
A giant praying mantis emerges from the portal which distracted the FBI Agents and allowed Anne and the Plantars escape through the portal. Jenny and an FBI Agent subdue the Mantis.
Anne's parents started explaining everything to Mr. X and Jenny about the invasion and King Andrias, Jenny, Mr. X, and the FBI listen and then train Anne's parents as they get prepared for the invasion.
In "All In", Jenny, Mr. X, and Anne's parents were called in when King Andrias started invading Los Angeles. They then save Anne, the Plantars, Captain Grime, Sasha Waybright, Lady Olivia, and General Yunan from some Frobots. They head to Saint James Middle School and work on a plan on how to stop the Invasion. Jenny battles the Frobots on the ground along with Mr. X, Anne's parents, Anne, and the Plantars. Jenny would later witness Anne battle King Andrias (who was using a mech suit), Jenny later cheered after Anne defeated King Andrias. Behind the scenes
Name and basis
Jenny's design was inspired by Adrian Siedelman, the alter ego of comic book character Cybersix.[1]
Trivia
- Although Jenny's character is very strongly implied to be gender-neutral, Mr. X refers to Jenny as "girl" after their plan to capture Hop Pop in "Hollywood Hop Pop" failed, possibly implying that Jenny may be female, though this could've just been slang used by Mr. X.
- This can be further supported by the outline of Jenny's chest and by Jenny's name (originally a diminutive of Jane, later associated with Jennifer).
- Matt Braly considers Jenny one of his favorite characters.[1]
Notes
- ↑ Jenny never speaks nor is addressed by any third-person pronouns, thus this biography does not use any pronouns to refer to Jenny.
