Chaclon

Chaclon (チャクロン, Chakuron^?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They only appear in a Chao Race as the most difficult rival.

Appearance

In Sonic Adventure, Chaclon is a rare two-tone dark gray neutral Chao with dark brown coloring at their hands and feet. In Sonic Adventure 2, they are two-tone light gray with pale yellow coloring at their hands and feet and light blue coloring on their belly. They have a yellow pom-pom ball floating over their head and possesses pink wings at his back. They are usually seen with half-closed dark blue eyes that give them a bored or tired expression.

Sonic Adventure

In Sonic Adventure, they appear in the Chao Race but only in the Jewel Race after the Emerald Course is won. They play in a misleading way, because at the start they still for a few minutes in their trademark lying down pose. They will then run at an incredible speed, passing all of their Chao rivals, and win. Unlike the other Chao, Chaclon always makes their "trademark pose" while they are still, instead of standing up.

Sonic Adventure 2

In Sonic Adventure 2 they appear in the Chao Race, only in the Challenge Mode. The player competes with them in race 2 and 10. Unlike Sonic Adventure, they do not still or make a trademark pose; they immediately run.

In other media

IDW Publishing

In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing, Chaclon makes a minor cameo when Cream the Rabbit was preparing Cheese for a Chao Race in the White Park Grand Chateau.

Trivia

• Though Chaclon is genderless,^[1] they were referred to as male in Sonic Adventure 2.
• In the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure, they have normal eyes, instead of half-closed eyes.
• Other Chao can make Chaclon's trademark pose by being given a Peacock.
