Appearance

This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Allister; any changes involving it should be made there instead. /

Allister is a short and slender young boy with pale skin and purple eyes. His black hair is fairly short, but with a few long strands in the front and a long curved cowlick at the back. On his face is a white mask with large holes for his eyes and mouth with motifs that looks similar to Corsola's motifs on the sides. His outfit consists of a long-sleeved black shirt and shorts. Around the ends of the sleeves are rings of light purple— a pair on each one, and on the right sleeve is the Galar league symbol. His shirt has a purple and gold upside-down triangle on the front with a black and gold spirit-like shape in the middle. This same symbol also re-appears on his right pant leg. Around the neck of the shirt are two light purple collar folds. His shorts and shirt share a light purple dot-like pattern, and on the left pant leg are two symbols — the numbers "291" and green Xs. Extending from Allister's upper waist to his shoulders are two white suspenders, reuniting behind him in a Cursola's face intersection and on his left hand is a purple glove with black fingertips. On his feet are white and black shoes with ruffles on the top.

Personality

In spite of being entitled as a Gym Leader at his young age, Allister is exceedingly introverted, shy, soft-spoken and bashful, hence always wearing a mask to conceal his face when he's around other people. He prefers spending his time alone in ruins and cemeteries, rather than making public appearances.

Biography

Allister was first seen in Wyndon as Ash and Goh had intended to go to Stow-on-Side. On the way, Ash bumped into him and tried to apologize, but Allister fled due to his introverted personality, dropping his ticket. Upon boarding the train, they managed to catch up to him, but Ash had ended up being possessed by one of Spiritomb's spirits after Goh's Grookey accidentally knocked its Odd Keystone over. Allister agreed to help Ash and Goh, managing to get a Sinistea to pour some of its tea into Ash's mouth. When Spiritomb was calmed down after its spirit was returned, Allister mysteriously left the boys.[1]

Soon learning that Gengar could be Gigantamaxed, Ash and Goh went to the stadium and met Allister again. Learning why they came to visit, Allister agreed to help, watching as Ash tried to Gigantamax Gengar, but instead only Dynamaxed. Allister then suggested that Gengar would need a serving of Max Soup and they would need to collect some Max Mushroomss at a forest inhabited by Ghost Pokémon.

After acquiring the mushrooms, Allister began making the soup for Gengar and began talking to him. When Ash volunteered to watch over the soup in the night, he and Goh ended up falling asleep. Gengar tried to sneak an early serving, but Allister stopped him from doing so. He then realized that Gengar cared for Ash as he genuinely cared for his well-being, causing Gengar to hug him in affection, nearly causing his mask to slip off. The following day, Gengar finished the whole serving and was able to Gigantamax successfully, much to his astonishment. Allister later saw the three off at the station.[2]

When Ash was battling Marnie, Allister watched the match from his Rotom Phone.[3]

Allister later watched Ash's match against Leon from his Rotom Phone, where he clenched his hand in satisfaction after Gengar defeated his Inteleon.[4]
