Visquez is a character appearing in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. She is the vice captain of Lt. Surge's military squad and the acting Gym Leader of Vermilion City Gym.

Biography

Sometime before Lt. Surge embarked on his training, he left Visquez in charge of the Vermilion City Gym.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series

After a battle with a Trainer's Hypno, Visquez met Ash who had just entered into the World Coronation Series. She accepted Ash's battle request and even mentioned how Lt. Surge had once told her about his battle with Ash while he was in Kanto. She sent out her Raichu and Electroude against Ash's Gengar and Pikachu, but ended up losing and had her rank dropped.
