The Earth Gem is a Key Item found inside Saldine. Upon acquiring it, Ryu is able to access the Behemoth dragon form, which can be upgraded into Mammoth with sufficient Game Points.

Story

After leaving Pabpab on the Northern Islands, the party makes their way to Saldine, a series of tidal flats that they intend to use to cross over to the Western Continent.

As they proceed further along the islands, Ryu eventually spots the Earth Gem resting inside a thicket on a small plateau. After a short climb, reaches the gem.
