The IcePuppy (Ice Puppy) form is one of the Puppies obtained after meeting the Fire Shaman, Sana, who attempts to merge powers with Ryu. Unlike in Breath of Fire, in Breath of Fire II the dragon transformations act as a traditional spell. Therefore, using the ability will cause him to briefly transform into the Ice Puppy, perform a single attack, and then immediately revert back to human, thus ending his turn. Doing so consumes all of Ryu's AP and does a base damage of 256 ice damage.
