" It's just the pool / It's just shaved ice / It's just a library / It's just a park." is the seventh episode of the Komi-san wa Komyushou Desu anime series.
Synopsis
Komi spends a lot of time getting ready for her trip to the local pool with Tadano and Najimi. Once they're there, they bump into even more friends.
Summary
It's just the pool
Komi, Tadano, and Najimi all go to the water park, with Najimi having also invited Agari. Yamai, having somehow learned of the plans, also goes to the water park and invites the popular clique with her, where they crash the group's plans. In the dressing room, Yamai hopes to see Komi in a bikini, but soon discovers that Komi does not own one and has brought the school swimsuit, so she buys one for her. The group has a fun time at the water park, but while running around, Komi trips and scrapes her knee.
Unable to enter the water and risk contaminating it, but also not wanting to end the day for everyone, Komi sits alone watching everyone's belongings while everyone else continues enjoying the park. Tadano eventually goes to sit with her, where Komi confesses that she feels she ruined everyone's fun and is worried they will hate her like she hates herself. Tadano makes her feel better by pulling her into a shallow pool where she can keep her bandage dry, but panics when he realizes he held Komi's hand. After Najimi saves the day by starting a water gun fight, everyone heads home, while the classmates Yamai invited — Chiarai Shigeo, Sonoda Taisei, Shinobino Mono, Onigashima Akako, and Kishi Himeko — all become Komi's friends, bringing her total to eleven.
It's just shaved ice
Komi decides to visit the library. Her father Komi Masayoshi, who is also bad at communicating but is slightly better at forming sentences, decides to walk her there and they get shaved ice. Through mostly non-verbal communication, they manage to talk about Komi's school life, and he affectionately pats her on the head.
It's just a library
Komi finds a book but is too scared to ask to borrow it, so she decides to read it in the library itself. When her stare scares a baby, she manages to cheer him up by making a fake smile. Tadano, who is also at the library, watches happily from nearby and forgets to return his own books.
It's just a park
Komi goes to an empty park and has fun while she is alone. A passing Tadano is awed by her drinking from a fountain and again forgets to return his books.
