Side Story is the four hundred fortieth chapter of Tomohito Oda's Komi Can't Communicate.
Summary
On the first side story, Ashitano Moe shows her daily life in a wealthy home with several maids who serves her in order that she wouldn't burn out. Ashitano tried to put her socks by her own resulting in herself burning out.
The second side story involves Ashitano again having her lunch with her friends and after rejecting the offer of being fed by her classmates and eating her lunch on her own, she burned out due being stuffed.
On the third side story, Emoyama Yuragi who is happy for being Komi's friend is trying to create bonds between the members of Manga Club who are Fushima Saku and Sukida Lily.
When Yuragi asks about what Fushima is writting, she responds that is a love story involving a love triangle between 3 of her 2nd year classmates(Bodou, Inui and Kichou), which Emoyama approves.
Sukida is disgusted about the idea of "Boys Love" genre and commented about it, So she's asked by Emoyama about what's she's writting, so she mentions a love story between two girls who she saw at the park,(being Hiki Komorebi and Shujou Susumi) a love story that Emoyama also approves, but it's not appreciated by Fushima.
Yuragi suggests the idea of gender swapping each of the characters and stories so they could fit Fushima and Sukida's likes, ending up in them making a hard handshake of approval.
On the last sidestory we see Ashitano's father who has sealed a big deal on his company which is a joy for the family, however and same as his daughter, Mr. Ashitano burned out after achieving his dream.
Moe on her side is thinking that Komi is having her admission exam and that despite her communication issues, she's still doing her best, motivating her to do the same, just to end up burning out in the process and wishing Komi the best.
