Considerate Udain is a character mentioned only in datapoints in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West.
History
Udain was the healer of Blazon Arch sometime prior to Fashav's childhood.[1] Due to his proximity to the borders of the Forbidden West, adventurers were often brought to his care, most of them near-death or driven mad by the horrors they encountered in the region. While he eased their pain before they passed, Udain documented many of the tales told by these people, which he made into a book: Expeditions into the Forbidden West.[2]
Legacy
Udain's book was read by Fashav during his childhood, becoming his all-time favourite book,[1] and by Aloy when she found a copy in Blazon Arch.
