Mavas is a Carja Guard who guards the gate to No Man's Land at Barren Light alongside Payiv.

When Captain Nozar ordered them not to let Aloy past the gate, Mavas protested that she was the Savior of Meridian, though this did not sway Nozar. He and Payiv were reluctant to arrest her on Nozar's orders, and hesitated long enough for Erend Vanguardsman to argue with Nozar about what the Sun-King would think of him obstructing the Savior. When Erend told them to open the gates, Mavas and Payiv obeyed and allowed Aloy and Varl into No Man's Land.
