Savage Tarav is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History
Along with Merciful Yusis and Relentless Shivin, Savage Tarav is a member of High Priest Bahavas' personal guard, but also acts as an enforcer when needs be.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Tarav was present when Bahavas announces the bounty on Uthid's head. Aloy has the option to speak with him, although he will focus on his duties rather than have a conversation.[1]
When Uthid is found on the Greenclimb, Odund invites Bahavas and his guards to watch him and his Marvels hunt the general. However, went the fight extends to them, Tarav wielded a Firestriker to defend his Sun-Priest, but he was eventually killed by Aloy and Uthid.[2]
