Daradi is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn. She is a young Carja noblewoman whom the Nora Brave Aloy met at the former's family estate.
History
Daradi is the daughter of a rich Carja noble, growing up on a luxurious estate with her brother Ranaman. Ranaman turned to a life of crime, beginning with gambling, then progressing to theft, then extortion. Eventually, his family kicked him out of the estate, with Ranaman promising vengeance.[1]
Horizon Zero Dawn

Some time later, Ranaman planted a machine lure on the estate to attract dangerous machines, with the intent of killing his family and all others on the estate so he could claim it as the sole heir. A Ravager and several Watchers stormed the estate, killing several workers and guards present. Daradi's father locked her into the larder for her own safety, managed to kill a Watcher, but was shot to death by the Ravager's cannon.[1]
Aloy arrived on the estate to clear out the machines on Ranaman's request.[2]
After clearing the estate of the machines, Aloy found Daradi alive in the larder. She then found and destroyed the lure, and learned Ranaman's true character from Daradi. Ranaman arrived shortly afterwards with another lure, smugly promising death to the two women through the machines the new lure would bring. This quickly became his undoing, as one of the Glinthawks attracted by the lure seized and killed him.
After Aloy fought off the Glinthawks, Daradi voiced that she wanted to continue the generosity that her father had shown in life, but that it was too dangerous to rebuild at the estate.
Aloy cleared the estate of the machines, but failed to notice any evidence of Ranaman's crime, or Daradi still alive in the larder, returning to Ranaman to report that no one had survived.
On subsequent visits to the estate, there are no signs of Daradi, with Ranaman having likely killed her when claiming his inheritance as was his goal.Associated Quests
