Bold Iriv[1] was the sixth Sun-King of the Carja tribe.
History
Succeeding Sun-King Zavarad, Sun-King Iriv saw the Sun passing into the west as a challenge. With his great army, he attempted to press through the Daunt. After being pushed back three times, Iriv and his cohort managed to break through and never returned. In his absence, Iriv was succeeded as Sun-King by his brother Basadid.[1]
At some point after passing through the Daunt, Iriv encountered the Tenakth. While the details as to what happened are unclear, the Tenakth pried Iriv's bow from his dying hands.[2]
Legacy
In response to Iriv's disappearance, Sun-King Basadid ordered the construction of a garrison at Blazon Arch, and another fortress at the Sundom's western edge that would be named Sunfall. While Basadid held out hope that Iriv might be found one day, this sadly never came to be.[3]
Iriv's bow, dubbed Iriv's Downfall, has since been prized by the Tenakth as a trophy for generations, having changed hands many times.[2]
