Chapter 62 is the sixty second chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 2nd chapter of Season 2.
Synopsis
Donald informs the executives that with regard to changing companies, Kingsley will be handing out the lists. He announces that Daehyeon will be in charge of Yoosun and Ganghak will be in charge of Hyeongshin. He tells Jimmy and Forrest to give the data and report to Jake and Wolf every week.
Forrest isn’t expecting Donald to take revenge on Eunjang for them but he expected even the slightest payback. The small punishment means that they’re not even worth his time and that Donald doesn’t give a damn about Hyeongshin. Forrest knows that Donald will get furious if he mentions his failure so it’s better to let it pass. He just has to put his pride aside.
Unlike Forrest who had just become leader, to Jimmy the fact that he has to report to another high school is more than a disgrace. Jimmy tries to speak up but Donald cuts him off and says if Jimmy says anything else, he’ll show him what he’s capable of. Jimmy shuts his mouth. Donald tells Jimmy to keep the boys under control and to look at what happened because he couldn’t control Helmet.
Donald uses this strategy to gain power and rise to the highest position. He always knows by instinct how to manipulate others without fighting. The Union is unable to go against him despite his tricks. Everything is under his control. Everything is designed by Donald. He is the founder and owner of the Union, and the Union of Yeongdeungpo is strictly under his control.
Donald asks Wolf if Ganghak is done selecting their new president. Wolf says that Jared did all the work, mentioning that it is hard to manage upperclassmen as a freshman. Donald says to bring Jared next time. Donald tells everyone to come up with their own idea or to shut the fuck up and do as he says. He tells them to only speak if they can contribute and to not dare to hold their heads up. He remarks that at least no one is trying to piss him off like Myles Joo had done.
After the meeting is over, Jake approaches Jimmy and tell him that he doesn’t have to report to him or give him the data. Jimmy is suspicious of Jake but Jake just tells him to do what he usually does. Jake smiles and says he doesn’t hate Jimmy for some reason.
Eunjang isn’t much of a concern to Donald. HIs only mission is to pursue profit. He simply operates in the most efficient way possible. Yeongdeungpo is intricately tied to the Union and Donald. Eunjang is a simple matter to leave to his subordinates while he deals with more pressing issues. However, Eunjang is growing beyond anyone’s expectations.
In Eunjang’s teachers’ room, Gray’s homeroom teacher tells Gray that his GPA exceeding 98.5 is a rare occurrence in Eunjang. He says if Gray keeps up the good work without being affected by his other classmates, he’ll do just fine. He asks if Gray’s settling in well to which Gray confirms. The homeroom teacher doesn’t believe that someone like Gray would get into a fight and that Gray could score stellar results for the first time in Eunjang history.
As Gray leaves, he sees Rowan entering the teachers’ room. He recalls that Rowan said he is going to attend Eunjang. Rowan follows his homeroom teacher to his new classroom. Rowan’s teacher tells him that he should think of this as a new beginning and to be good.
