Chapter 89 is the eighty ninth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 29th chapter of Season 2.
Synopsis
Due to Ganghak’s corruption being exposed, the Department of Education is implementing a new system to reduce early admissions and expand regular admissions. The reformation is currently being revised and will be confirmed and announced by the end of the month. The teachers consider Toby to be a loose cannon and keep their eyes on him, but the students admire him for his bravery.
Gerard, Alex, and Ben visit Gray at Malkeun Hospital. Ben tells Gray he should be resting instead of studying. Gray wonders where Eugene is, and Gerard says he’s going to come by later with the guys from Class One. Aside from Rowan, they wonder who else is tagging along with Eugene. Ben mentions that you can’t have more than three visitors at once and Alex has a sad expression.
Robin informs Grape of Gray’s win against Wolf. Grape is shocked and can’t believe that Gray is able to do what he has only countlessly imagined doing. He is angry at himself.
Eugene visits Gray with Rowan and Teddy. Teddy asks Rowan if he managed to hit Wolf and after Rowan confirms it, Teddy mentions how he kicked Forrest’s ass before. Teddy is obsessed with stories about who won against who, and his pride is a bit hurt.
Eugene asks how long Gray is going to be hospitalized for and Gray says he’s going to get discharged soon. Teddy gives Gray a bag full of Coke cans and Gray thanks him. Teddy asks if Gray really did take down Wolf. Gray says he didn’t mean to, but he thinks he kind of did. Teddy’s fear of the White Mamba increased by 104 points. He thinks Gray is on another level.
Eugene orders pizza for three reasons. First, the hospital food is awful. Second, they have a lot of Coke. Third, the Devourer isn’t with them. Ben can eat six slices of pizza at once and is able to demolish a pizza box in a minute.
Wolf is on the phone with Hwangmo. He says he’s done and that he got the files and the money. After Hwangmo’s done taking care of things there, he wants Hwangmo to call Forrest and distribute them. Hwangmo asks what Wolf’s plans are now. Wolf tells Hwangmo to handle it and that he wants to stop doing this shit for a bit. Wolf is sick and tired of Donald and all that bullcrap.
A tattooed hand grabs Wolf’s shoulder from the shadows and Donald appears right behind him. Wolf is terrified.
