Chapter 13 is the thirteenth chapter of the first season of Weak Hero.
Synopsis
Jimmy Bae continues to beat down Alex. Having realized Alex's plan to keep things from escalating, Jimmy gleefully tells him his efforts were in vain: once he's finished with Alex, Ben Park is next. The other boys from Class 1-8 move to intervene despite Alex's protests otherwise, but the beatdown ends prematurely when Jimmy receives a phone call. The details of the call are unclear, although Donald Na is mentioned and Jimmy is forced to leave. Before going, he tells Alex to warn Ben he'll be next.
Gray arrives at Eunjang High at 6:45 AM the next day for his class duty. As he cleans the room, Gray mulls over his encounter with Teddy Jin and what will come next. By the time Eugene arrives, Class 1-5 is already spotless and Gray is studying diligently. When he apologizes to Gray for not helping, Gray dismisses it and asks more about Teddy.
Eugene shares that Teddy was notorious at Seong-Il Middle School. He was once suspended for beating a teacher who dirtied his backpack, and was responsible for several students either quitting school or transferring. Aside from his best friend Chad Jang, Teddy doesn't seem to have any affiliations and isn't involved with any gangs.
Eugene asks Gray why he always comes to school so early. Gray replies that he is doing so in order to "study ahead".
Gerard, whom Eugene had noticed was asleep in Class 1-10, wakes up and notices that he's on his last cigarette. He tosses the empty carton into a trash bin and thinks that he should quit since it's so damn expensive.
