Seeker of knowledge. Keeper of history. Daring researcher of Leverian lore. Dante composes arcane tales to support allies and devastate enemies.

Release Date: March 27th, 2024

Recite the epic tales of yore and chronicle our heroic deeds, woven therein the gilded tapestry of  Orokin history. Since foreshadowed from the Noctua's luminous pages, authored by the Keeper of History, Dante, he illustrates for defiant foes their predestined demise. Don his occult quills and tome, with gun and blade in tow, to inscribe our legacy as fate unfolds. Rescind the  Corpus plot to denude Leverian's exhibition halls, thus devise narratives yet unwritten upon its walls.

Dante is a male scribe-themed Warframe who wields  Noctua, an Exalted Tome. Dante's new tale began in Update 35.5 (2024-03-27): Dante Unbound.

I have made a tremendous mistake...

Tenno. Please. The Leverian desperately needs your help. Come see me in DANTE'S LEVERIAN, as soon as possible.
  • Drusus: "The Leverian... it was floundering, you understand? Going under! All that work I put into it, and so few visited, let alone donated. Oh, I don't mean you, of course. I know you're a friend to the Leverian. It just... wasn't enough. So when Parvos made me an offer... I thought, why not? Just let it go. Let it all go. I took the deal, Tenno. I shouldn't have, but I did. Oh, if only Dante were still around. Please, you must come see me."  (download, history)

Entering:

Ah, hello, friend. You find me now amidst the bones of all I am. Of the thing that mattered most to me in my too-long life. You know, I wasn't sure it was possible to be less than a man, for I was a man, once. This room was to be a shrine to one of my dearest friends, but now that shall never come to pass. Look around, and I will recount what was meant to be.

Unfinished Shrine:

I've made such a terrible mistake, you see. In a universe at its own throat, where every living thing works daily to keep body and soul together, there's not much appetite for history. For stories.

The Leverian may not be a real place - a place you can reach out and touch - but to reality it was anchored. And reality demands a tithe. It takes coin to keep this place rezzed. This shrine to memory. And... a savvy businessman I was not.

To be less than a man is to be a fool. And fool I was.

Loss:

Did I never tell you of Dante? No. I suppose I didn't. I suppose I hadn't the fortitude. The entirety of the Leverian is shaped by the lack of him - though perhaps only in ways that I can see.

Though by definition a weapon of war, Dante was, first and foremost, a student of history. And, he was my friend. Truthfully, much of the Leverian would not exist were it not for that bold, two-fisted academician's devotion to both myself and the cause of better understanding our history, and ourselves.

It shames me to think of what he would have to say about what I have done. To our shared endeavor.

Folly:

Parvos Granum. You know the name. He of the gilded hand, and gilded tongue. For an age he has sought what Dante and I had gathered together. Our collected treasures. For one such as Granum there is no such thing as 'enough.' In an age with no appetite for memory, maintaining a shrine to our shared history seemed folly. And so, in a low moment, I signed it all away.

Regret:

I do not know what possessed me, in that moment. I have no need for money, or food, or shelter, or care. Perhaps I merely felt my time was done, that the past had served its use, and me along with it. Whatever the reason I allowed myself an instant to feel my misery to be greater than my life's purpose. A momentary indulgence that may be paid by every future generation until the sun goes dark.

Friendship:

I would give much for my friend to have been here. Dante and I, we tempered each other's unique compulsions.

You would have liked Dante, I feel. His end began, as it did for so many souls, with the Entrati family. The patriarch of that benighted family had fallen into decadence and disrepute, his name sullied by controversy and implications of madness.

Then an erstwhile associate of mine - a gentleman by the name of Loid, and Master Entrati's man for more than a lifetime - well, vanished. Loid, his Master, and his entire lineage. Just... gone.

Failing:

There were rumors, of course. Master Entrati was known at that time for outlandish claims and questionable science relating to... voices he was hearing, I believe. Gods from beyond the veil and whatnot.

After the disappearances, Dante, never one to let a good mystery go, insisted on infiltrating the Entrati manse and learning the truth for himself. I, however, being more familiar with the, uh, confidential details of Master Entrati's... interests... urged him otherwise. I suppose you wonder why I would do such a thing, if I believed Master Entrati to be fit for little more than the asylum.

Loid was, as I said, a dear friend. We spoke often. His last missive to me was a simple one.

"We end as we began."

As a student of history and its occult apocrypha I know the terrible import of those words. And so I cautioned Dante to remain by my side. He promised to do so, then did otherwise. And I never saw him again.

Perhaps I was not so deft at tempering him, as he was of me. And that, I suppose, was my first great failing. The parent of this second, and most final, one.

 Dante:

I imagine you've surmised why I have summoned you here. To ask that, in the name of whatever friendship we share, to lend your aid to my impossible predicament. To help preserve not me, not this shadow of a man I once was, but to keep this monument to history alive - so that future generations may learn from it, and never repeat our most shameful mistakes.

Granum's obsession with that bygone age demands pieces of such. Ironic, really, that one man's interest in history serves only to strip an edifice whose singular purpose was to protect it. But there remains one slim hope: the sourcing of artifacts from places other than the Leverian.

Sourced by you, at my direction. Help me, friend. Help me, that my one, great and final, mistake not be the error that turns our collective history and the work of lifetimes to a single, miserable use: making a rich man richer.

Helping Drusus

Tenno,

I have only just now learned of my old friend Drusus Leverian's predicament. I believe I can help you help him. Albrecht's old Conduit network has everything Drusus will need.

Access the Conduits in the AMARTUS node of Deimos or through the Sanctum Anatomica.

Come see me afterward, I may even be able to help you recover his trusted colleague, the Warframe Dante.

Loid

Dante Prex:

You... found him, Friend. And Dante's tale deserves to be known. So... allow me to relate it, as he passes it to me.

Dante... ventured... to the... deafeningly... silenced halls of the... doomed... Entrati lineage, encountering... automated defenses, gone senile and violent, chanting in an... unright dialect that slurred thought and... annihilated... hope. That wrongtongued language invaded Dante's mind - infecting it with the one thing he was defenseless against: the promise of knowledge.

It may be said that a parasite is life from without the body fighting to exist within the body, despite the body, even as it risks the body. What, then, do we call knowledge from beyond our reality demanding to be let in?

Poor Dante. If only he had recited to me sooner the wrongtongued words he had heard. I could have told him, you know, that I had heard that language before. Once. Long ago. From the lips of Parvos Granum.

Dante found it, you see. Dante found The Book.

The Dante I knew was many things, but he was not weak. He struggled, fought, refused its knowledge. There was a moment, I knew, when that chill Indifference felt it had won. In those moments I was with him, wrestling the foul thing he had unlocked. Impossibly, though it cost him dearly, he was winning. But miserably, I knew the equation was not so simple as that.

I told him: Dante, what you have found can never be brought forth. Parvos must never know of this.

I felt the chill, the awful loneliness, of understanding wash through him.

I sensed the moment he chose, and I felt Dante give up. When he died, I almost died with him.

But the Book, the word, did not permit Dante to die. The violent diplomacy which ensued rewrit the very fabric of who he was. I understood things, learned things, on that journey with my old friend, from night to day. Things which could not survive in this world, but forever made a lie, to me, of science.

What became of him, and what stars he may have traveled to, is unknown to me. What that wrongtongued Voice may murmur in his mind, on long nights, I'm not sure I would want to know. It teaches because it longs to be known, and in being known it exists. And in existing, it survives.

General

Dante served as scribe and a historian. Additionally, he was the main chronicler of the Leverian, a little-known museum named after Drusus Leverian, its curator. A student of history and avid seeker of knowledge, Dante soon became close friends with both Drusus and Albrecht Entrati's assistant, Loid.[1]

Due to his nature as a Warframe, Dante was unable to speak with a conventional voice; instead, he spoke through his writing, and his voice was indeed beautiful.[2] A natural scholar, Dante possessed an affinity for knowledge, and often shared the Entrati's interest with bones and the dead.[3] He even went on to publish some of the finest works detailing ancient Earth archaeology, something that was considered impossible for a mere Warframe to accomplish.[4]

Dante was one of the few warframes who didn't immediately go mad and join in the Warframe Insurrection. However, he became a wanted fugitive.[5]

Dante's Investigation

When Albrecht disappeared, Dante became eager to unveil the mystery behind the disappearance. After the reappearance of the martian moon, Deimos, he ventured into Albrecht's Laboratories, despite promising Drusus otherwise. Within the hauntingly silent halls, Dante encountered the lab's malfunctioning Necramechs; all acting violent and chanting in eldritch Voidtongue.

As Drusus watched, the wrong-tongued dialect began to worm into Dante's mind, tempting him with his one weakness; the promise of knowledge. He had discovered The Book, an unknown, unearthly tome of knowledge that was laid as a trap by The Indifference as an attempt to seize control of him. As Dante struggled to resist its knowledge, he heard his dear friend say, "Dante, what you have found can never be brought forth. Parvos must never know of this."

Thus, Dante gave up, allowing himself to succumb to the Book's influence and take his life. However, the Book and the hellish words within did not allow Dante to die, and instead altered the very fabric of who the Warframe was. Transported to stars unknown, that wrong-tongued Voice now murmurs endlessly within his head, longing to be known, to exist, and to survive.

Passive

Enemies slain by  Noctua's primary fire, alt-fire, and page fragments are scanned into the Codex upon death, with each enemy death recording 1 scan entry. Enemy types with completed Codex research become permanently debuffed with Chronicler's Mark, which grants Dante's equipped weapons, including the  Noctua itself, and  Final Verse's Wordwarden Noctua copies an extra 50% Status Chance versus these foes.

Tips & Tricks

The second stroke can be used in a different direction by aiming elsewhere right after the first stroke, either to target additional enemies or break more destructibles. The time between strokes is affected by Casting Speed, so increasing it can make aiming the second stroke more difficult.

Final Verse

Dante must compose two other Verses before his Final Verse.

TRIUMPH: Two Light Verses cast in succession invigorate allies with a buff that increases Health and grants Overguard. Kills and assists briefly regenerate Overguard.

TRAGEDY: Two Dark Verses cast in succession attack enemies. Damage Over Time from Slash, Heat and Toxin Status Effects accumulates in a single blast.

WORDWARDEN: A Light Verse followed by a Dark Verse supports allies with copies of Noctua. Noctua copies synchronize their attacks with their designated ally's attacks.

PAGEFLIGHT: A Dark Verse followed by a Light Verse summons Paragrimms that swoop at enemies, making them vulnerable to Status Chance and Status Damage, as well as drawing enemy attacks away from allies.

Info

  • Cast  Light Verse and/or  Dark Verse to fill in 2 pages that complete the Final Verse. Cannot be cast without two pages. Once the story is written, Dante fulfills the narrative by expending 50 energy on cast, which grants him 1 second of Invulnerability during casting and materializes one of four stories based on page order: Triumph, Tragedy, Wordwarden, or Pageflight, while removing both pages from the storybook display above the ability icons. Each story lasts for 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 seconds with a range of 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 meters.
    • The specific story ability icon appears above the storybook display when two pages are filled, with the pages visually glowing.
    • Replace filled pages from the right to left by recasting Light or Dark Verses to create the desired story combination.
    • Stories with active duration appear as ability buff timers beside Dante's hitpoints indicator.
  • All stories can be recast while active.
  • Casting Final Verse is a full-body animation that allows uninterrupted movement and parkour Maneuvers.
  • Dante's four favored chapters exhibit diverse effects involving protection, damage, summoning, and debuffing:

Triumph
  • Written with two Light pages (default 2  twice). Triumph bestows 2,250 / 2,500 / 2,750 / 3,000 Overguard to Dante and his allies instantly in story range. While story duration is active, each kill or assisted kill made by Dante or his allies' weapons and abilities will regenerate their personal Overguard pools by 85 / 90 / 95 / 100 points over 2 seconds. Overguard granted by Triumph is capped to 7,500 / 10,000 / 12,500 / 15,000 total points.
  • Ability Synergy: Overguard generated by  Light Verse and Triumph are combined into a single pool with two separate maximum values affected by  Ability Strength.
  • Overguard from Triumph does not apply to rescued hostage in Rescue missions.

Tragedy
  • Written with two Dark pages (default 3  twice). Tragedy inflicts 5,000 / 5,500 / 6,000 / 6,500  Slash damage and  Stagger to all enemies within story range and in Line of Sight. Enemies hit by Tragedy while debuffed with active  Slash,  Heat, or  Toxin Status Effect will instantly receive the full damage from all damage ticks of the procs, multiplied by 2.25x / 2.5x / 2.75x / 3x; status effects are removed after inflicting damage.
    • Damage is capped at 1 billion.
    • Line-of-sight extends from Dante's model and from the player camera perspective.
      • Enemies directly on screen, ran behind cover moments before the check, those already behind cover with partial body exposure, and standing on different height elevations are all eligible targets.
      • Enemies to the sides and back of the camera view are detected via raycast lines to their head, torso and feet.
      • Line-of-sight check is ignored for enemies within 5 meters of Dante.

Wordwarden
  • Written with first Light and last Dark pages (default 2  then 3 ). Wordwarden summons 1 spectral Noctua companion that floats beside Dante and his allied Warframes in story range on cast for its story duration, attacking enemies struck by its warded player's weapons for 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% of the original Noctua's damage amplified by its modded stats, including Status Chance for its equipped Physical and Elemental damage types.
    • Wordwarden Noctua targets the enemy last struck by its warded player, firing up to 9 times per second if using a rapid-fire gun.
    • Wordwarden Noctua will not use the Alternate Fire.
    • Wordwarden fires a homing Noctua energy projectile toward the warded player's target. The projectile has travel time and can be blocked by obstacles in the environment, unless modded with Punch Through stat.
    • Wordwarden appears to ignore the effects of Fire Rate and Multishot mods placed on Noctua.
    • Wordwarden will proc Archon Stretch and provide the energy regen when it procs Electricity status. Provided the Exalted Noctua has Electricity on it.
  • Ability Synergy:
    • Kills from Wordwarden Noctua passively scan enemies into the Codex. Wordwarden Noctua also gains 50% Status Chance against enemies that have been fully scanned.
    • Wordwarden inherits Mods placed on  Noctua and splits page fragments on hit that charge the held  Noctua's alt-fire.

Pageflight
  • Written with first Dark and last Light pages (default 3  then 2 ). Pageflight summons 3 spectral Paragrimms with high Threat Level that fly around for the story duration and attack enemies within 30 meters, dealing 150 / 200 / 250 / 300  Slash damage, status, and  Stagger. Enemies hit by Paragrimms also receive 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% Status Chance vulnerability and 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% increased Status Damage for 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 seconds.
    • Status chance vulnerability is multiplicative to other sources of status chance, and does not increase Pageflight's  Slash statuses per Paragrimm hit.
    • Status damage increase is multiplicative to other sources of status damage.
    • Enemies debuffed by the Paragrimms are visually surrounded by an upsurging double helix.
  • Pageflight Paragrimms are summoned allies with diverse properties and behaviors:
    • Invulnerable and intangible, able to phase through enemy attacks, solid entities and obstacles in the environment.
    • Fly above Dante when no enemies are detected in range, and return to him when farther away than range.
    • Detect enemies in range without direct line-of-sight.
    • Prefer striking different targets to apply status vulnerability, while able to focus their combined attacks on a lone enemy. Once all enemies in range are debuffed, the Paragrimms prioritize attacking enemies closest to Dante himself.
    • Strike each target by flying through them, then encircling back along their flight path.
  • Ability Synergy: Pageflight's status chance vulnerability increases  Dark Verse's  Slash status stacks per hit.

  • Fixed Dante’s “Light Verse” and “Dark Verse” Abilities taking Energy color from Attachments instead of Warframe.
  • Fixed a case of Dante becoming invulnerable when rapidly casting Light Verse.

Update 35.6 (2024-05-15)

  • Fixed loss of function when casting Dante’s Noctua ability after completing the Kaithe stage of the Steel Path Orowyrm fight.

Hotfix 35.5.8 (2024-04-24)

  • Fixed Dante's Tragedy VFX affecting performance when repeatedly cast.
  • Fixed Dante’s Wordwarden missing some minor explosion VFX.
  • Fixed being able to enter Dante’s Leverian without having completed the Whispers in the Walls Quest requirement via the “Leverian” button in the Dante’s Collection in-game Market screen.

Hotfix 35.5.7 (2024-04-17)

Line of Sight (LoS) Changes & Fixes

As mentioned in our last Hotfix 35.5.6, the team continues to address and assess player reports of further LoS issues. While the quality and consistency of LoS checks has improved significantly, we're still not 100% satisfied and sometimes the results are still unpredictable. The team is investigating LoS checks at large occasionally having odd interactions with terrain, enemies, etc. which is causing inconsistencies in the checks. We are looking to have this resolved in the next Cert update (more info on what that means here).

For today, we have made LoS improvements to the following Warframe abilities:

  • Fixed the following Warframe abilities not ignoring terrain for enemies that are up to 5 meters from the ability starting point:
    • Dante’s Dark Verse

Dante Changes

As promised last week, we have made more adjustments to Dante as part of our continued effort to address player feedback regarding the balance changes made in Hotfix 35.5.3.

Dark Verse:

  • Made Dark Verse’s Line of Sight (LoS) checks more reliable to bring it in line with Tragedy.
    • Following the improvements to Tragedy’s LoS last week, we’ve applied the same logic to Dark Verse to ensure enemies within LoS are properly considered to prevent cases where being only partially visible would not trigger the check. This is part of the greater LoS improvements detailed in the “Line of Sight Improvements” section below.

Pageflight:

  • Returned the Status Damage increase applied to enemies hit by its Paragrimms.
    • At Max Rank, the Status Damage Increase is 50% (scaleable with Ability Strength).
    • This was an undocumented/unintended element of Pageflight at release that we decided to remove, but in doing so, we broke our promise of “not touching damage” with Dante, so we’ve returned it, and it now has proper documentation in the ability UI!

Tragedy:

  • Because of the return of Pageflight’s Status Damage increase, we have added a 1 billion damage cap to Tragedy, purely as a preventative measure against game errors. This is our highest damage cap in the game, a testament to how powerful Pageflight and Tragedy can be with the right setup. We will monitor feedback and performance over a longer time span before reviewing again.
Line Of Sight (Los) Improvements

As announced last week, we have revisited LoS checks on other Warframes to bring them in line with the new and improved version of Dante’s LoS added in Hotfix 35.5.4.

To reiterate, there are now two variations of LoS checking:

  1. The first type of check sees if any part of the enemy has been drawn on the screen, so that any part of an enemy, big or small, is considered visible/eligible to pass the LoS check.
  2. The second type of check is for enemies that are not on screen. We now check for LoS to the enemy's head, torso, and feet instead of only to their body which will increase reliability there as well.

For Abilities that hit enemies in a full circle around you, both checks are used: Once to evaluate enemies that you can see and then a second sweep to check targets to the sides and behind you that aren't visible.

The following Warframe abilities have received the aforementioned improvements:

  • Dante’s Dark Verse (Rendered Check)

The above changes also tangentially fixes the issue of low FOV preventing LoS checks from occurring (this was most reported for Dante’s Dark Verse).

Dante Changes & Fixes

Tragedy Line of Sight (LoS) Changes & Fixes:
As a result of yesterday’s Hotfix and the understandable feedback we’re receiving, we wanted to address the clearly broken state of Dante’s Tragedy LoS checks. It was not implemented to our standards, and that is on us. We know that this has been an unpopular change, which was greatly aggravated by the fact that a) it launched in a defective state and b) that LoS checks in general suffer from broad inconsistencies.

Our first step is improving how LoS checks work with Tragedy to fix the inconsistencies and ineffectiveness. We’ll use our learnings from this incident to review other cases of LoS check issues for a future update.

  • Improved Tragedy’s Line of Sight checks per enemy to be much more forgiving and reliable to fix the many cases players reported of not being able to hit enemies at all. Now, it considers not only the enemies that Dante sees but also those visible on screen/via the camera—so any part of them, big or small, is considered visible/eligible to pass the LoS check.
    • To break that down a bit deeper:
      • Enemies positioned directly behind or in front of Dante
        • We have made it so that enemies within 5 meters of Dante are automatically considered visible; no LoS checks are required.
      • Enemies barely in cover or who had just run to cover
      • Enemies positioned at a different height to Dante where they are still partially in view
    • Enemies that are not caught by the "Is the enemy on screen?" check (behind or to the sides of you) use an improved target detection where we now check for line of sight to the target's head, torso, and feet. Previously we only checked for their torso. This will improve the reliability of hitting enemies even when they are not directly on the screen.
  • Fixed Tragedy not hitting/affecting ragdolled enemies that are in LoS.
    • This was a particularly brutal bug considering the number of abilities, weapons, and other effects that can cause enemies to be ragdolled. This issue also contributed to the many scenarios in which Tragedy did not apply at all.

With the changes above, this is where Tragedy’s LoS should have been originally. As mentioned above, we are also taking what we’ve learned from Dante and will be making general improvements to LoS checks as a whole in a future update. We provided details on how we plan to do that in the post we made today, but in short we will be making LoS checks across the board far more reliable than they are currently.

Light Verse and Triumph Overguard Increases:
The second pillar of feedback we want to address is our changes to Dante’s Overguard capabilities. We went too deep with the initial decrease and are, therefore, bumping up the Overguard gain from Light Verse and Triumph to a middle ground between their pre- and post-balance states.

  • Increased the Overguard gained from Light Verse from 250 to 350 at Max Rank.
  • Increased the Overguard gained from Triumph from 2000 to 3000 at Max Rank.

We knew we could tackle LoS improvements and Overguard bumps today without hesitation. However, this is just the tip of the feedback iceberg, and we know there’s more that’s been shared beyond what we can accomplish today regarding both LoS, Overguard, and more. So we’ll continue to digest and evaluate feedback, and we encourage you to keep sharing in the dedicated Dante Feedback subforum.

We value your input and how it helps us iterate and improve together. Thank you, Tenno.

Dante Balance Changes

In the time that Dante has been available to play, he has quickly become a fan favorite! We recognize how much of a blast it's been to play this quill-wielding Leverian wizard, which is something we have kept at the forefront while determining the following balance changes. These changes are not meant to suspend the fun factor but to maintain our philosophy on why we nerf things in Warframe (automated play, disruptive to squad, or overly dominant).

After much review and feedback consideration, we recognized that it’s not the damage Dante can deal that needed to be addressed, but rather his accumulation of Overguard. We still believe Dante is in a strong place even with these adjustments, as our goal from the start was never to nerf him into the ground. However, finding balance isn’t found simply in the nerfs, but also in the buffs! So we have also given a little bit of love to Wordwarden and Triumph.

  • Increased Wordwarden’s weapon damage on warded allies from 30% to 50%.
    • The Wordwarden felt a bit lackluster in comparison to the rest of Dante’s abilities, so we gave it a boost to encourage players to experiment and engage with it more.
  • Final Verse’s “Tragedy” now only affects enemies within Line of Sight.
    • This felt like the most reasonable change to Tragedy since it could be cast back to back without much forethought on positioning. So to make it a more active ability, enemies must now be within range in your Line of Sight to be impacted by it.
  • Reduced the amount of Overguard gained from Final Verse’s “Triumph” from 5000 to 2000 at Max Rank.
    • For a bit of compensation, we increased Triumph’s base Overguard Regeneration per second from 50 to 100 at Max Rank (can still be modified with Ability Strength).
  • Reduced the amount of Overguard gained from Light Verse from 500 to 250 at Max Rank (can still be modified with Ability Strength).
  • Added Overguard Cap stat to Final Verse’s “Triumph” description to make it clear that there are cases where the cap for Light Verse and Triumph can be different (ex: when using the Precision Intensify Mod).
  • Final Verse’s “Pageflight” no longer applies increased Status Effect Damage to enemies hit by its Paragrimms.
    • This was an undocumented element of Pageflight, but for the sake of transparency we wanted to inform you of its removal. We believe its removal strikes a better balance and synergy with Status Damage inflicted by Tragedy.
    • NOTE: This is not a removal of the Status Vulnerability added to enemies by Pageflight. We are only removing the unintended additional damage taken from Status Effects.

You can continue to share your feedback in the dedicated Dante Feedback sub-forum.

General Dante Changes & Fixes:

  • Updated Dante’s Final Verse ability videos to better showcase the custom HUD.
  • Made improvements to cast animations for Dante’s Final Verse to allow for smoother Ability chaining.
  • Fixed the Archon Intensify Mod triggering upon casts of Dante’s Light Verse regardless if players were actually healed. Now Light Verse will only trigger Archon Intensify if Health is restored.
  • Fixed Tome skins being upside down when equipped on Noctua.
  • Fixed Dante Specter casting Final Verse interfering with the player's custom Dante HUD that displays which Verses are active.
  • Fixed several crashes caused by shooting an enemy with Dante’s Noctua while riding Kaithe or K-Drive.
  • Fixed being unable to shoot weapons after casting Fractured Blast (infused onto Dante via Helminth) at the end of Final Verse’s “Triumph”.
  • Fixed bug where Melee weapon would briefly appear at the end of each of Dante’s ability casts if it was equipped in hand.
Additions:
  • Added a “listen” context action in Dante’s Leverian for those who have already picked up his Prex Card.
    • This allows players to re-listen to Drusus’ dialogue that was triggered upon picking up the Prex!
Fixes:
  • Fixed entering an early segment of the Whispers in the Walls Quest as Dante resulting in a progression stop.
  • Fixed being unable to fire weapons after casting Xata’s Whisper from a Xaku that has Dante’s Noctua ability injected via Helminth.
  • Fixed several misplaced punctuation issues in some of the entries in Dante’s Leverian.

    • This matches the standard for other similar Exalted weapons.
    • This change also fixes cases of Dante losing access to his Secondary weapon and Abilities when in Submersible Archwing with Noctua active.
  • Fixed returning from a Host Migration with Noctua equipped resulting in an unmodded version of Noctua replacing Dante’s secondary weapon.

  • Fixed a script error caused by one of the plaques in Dante’s Leverian.

Update 35.5 (2024-03-27)

  • Introduced.

  1. "I cannot lie, Tenno. I have always felt nervous in the presence of warframes. The Orokin twisted people into weapons, and I have seen first-hand the bloody and well-deserved consequences of that act. Dante, though? In his company, I felt no such anxiety. He was warm. Earnest. Literate! A fellow seeker. To know that he perished in these very halls while I slept… is a bitterness to me." - Loid
  2. "Warframes cannot speak, as a rule. Their creator decided they should only scream, or roar, or howl. Dante spoke through his writing, and his voice was beautiful." - Loid
  3. "Dante shared the Entrati fascination with bones. I was content to let him explore our old burial vaults and ossuaries, but his request to examine my own replicated skull was a step too far. Otherwise his manners were impeccable." - Loid
  4. "Dante's works on ancient Earth archaeology were some of the finest in the field. Many back then refused to accept a mere warframe could have written them." - Loid
  5. "I remember when we learned of the Warframe insurrections. Their madness, savage and sudden, justifying all the Orokin fear. All their heroic deeds were forgotten in an instant. Those like Dante who had yet to succumb became fugitives. To shelter them meant death - or glassing." - Loid
