Thank you for saying...the game was fun...and that you wished it wouldn't end.
Yuzu Hanaoka (花岡ユズ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Millennium Science School and wields a Grenade Launcher. She is the president of the Game Development Department (GDD), a club made for game developers and enjoyers. Despite being president, her introverted self results in lack of promotion of the club and consequentially, lack of members and activities. However, through miracles and hard work, the club survived through ups and downs and became popular.
Yuzu played as a supporting protagonist throughout the entirety of the second volume of the main story, "Clockwork Flower Pavane". She also played the supporting protagonist role throughout the second to third chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin". She also appeared in one of the side events, "Where Aesthetics Reside in the Mansion of Deception", as one of the supporting protagonists as well.
Personality
Yuzu has a passion for playing and creating games. Her enjoyment of developing games led to the creation of the Game Development Department. However, she's insecure about herself. She lives inside a locker in the GDD clubroom as her comfort zone. She also can't stand negative comments from others. Once, she uploaded a game which received massive lash due to how terrible it is, which got her depressed. However, she was able to mostly overcome her insecurity thanks to her friends from the Game Development Department. She also has a decent sense of bravery when the time is right. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of her energy and she gets tired easily. Yuzu also possesses a "gamer instinct" where her vision and strategy-making capabilities increase greatly when in a serious fight inside a game.
